Update
I've got 2 days of antibiotics left and I finished my second course of
steroids
yesterday but still feeling really poorly. My chest keeps getting really tight and I'm coughing a lot, my chest was relatively clear when my Dr listened and my Sat's were 98.

I think I might need a second opinion regarding my Behçet’s diagnosis & management. What do you think?
Instead I was again going around in circles with my azathioprine and
steroids
.

update on Steroid Injection.
Just an update on my last post. As I mentioned I had the X-ray and scan done privately as there is a long wait for scans on NHS. They were both done and the results were sent straight through to the GP. I had Hoped to get the steroid injection within a couple of days again privately. I telephoned the

Taking statins while on Pred.
Steroids
raise your BP and cholesterol so I was given meds for both but had put off the statin taking. However it is known I think that they can cause muscle aching and cramp which I definitely do not need.

Scared
Hi there, I'm 38 year old active, fit woman. I've been diagnosed with severe cervical stenosis at c6-7 with radiculopathy. Have had symptoms for 20+ years not realising what it was. Then last summer after having an appendectomy and 3 weeks rest, the pain behind left shoulder blade and in neck flared

Flying with asthma
But most recently, when flying back from Switzerland, I was not comfortable, and had to go to AE for
steroids
straight from Heathrow. The blue inhaler did help on the plane, thanks for that.

Has anyone got any experience in coming off Tocilizumab to start on Methotrexate?
I have been off
steroids
now for over 2 months so without the Toci I have nothing to ward off any flare-up of GCA.

Newly diagnosed
My question is, have most of you found that all symptoms go completely once the
steroids
take effect or is there still a certain amount of muscle stiffness to be expected? I was an active 51 year old who played weekly netball and attended regular exercise classes.

Dreading seeing the Rheumatologist
Hi everyone, I have an appointment coming up with my Rheumatologist which I’ve been under for the last 3 1/2 years (I’m in the UK, we don’t get a choice in who we see). It took him a couple of years to finally diagnose PMR. During that time I’d become almost housebound. He insisted I take the

Third failed cycle 😭😭
This time we added
steroids
, a scratch and I'd a sis scan to rule out lining issues. I also did microbiome testing of my lining and all was clear. When I got the news in March that I'd 3 blasts, I naively thought we were in with a great chance! 2 down and no further on.

Am I Relapsing
I am trying not to increase my
steroids
and hoping the fatigue will go away. Should I relent and take the MTX or increase my
steroids
. I have also been diagnosed with cataracts recently possibly steroid induced? My Gp has ordered xray and ecg readings but no blood test.

Prednisolone advice
Accept I probably do need
steroids
but I've never had them before so I'm a bit wary to be honest. They are 5 mg , 8 a day !! Can this be right.I thought you started off with the maximum number and then tapered off by reducing 1 a day.
