Choices - any views please from those who really know?!
Hello - I think my previous post didn’t work so here goes again ( apologies if original pops up too!) I have finished Carbo / Caelyx 3 months ago.. didn’t work and there are more lesions (1.9 cm on average dotted around..) and I can feel 3 months on more lumps and bumps in there. I am desperate to start

11 weeks post ablation. Still have chest pain.
I am 11 weeks past ablation and just came back from my 4th visit to ER for chest pain. This time they finally game me cardiac cath and I passed with no significant blockages. My ultrasound shows 70 percent heart function. I am in sinus rhythm and my post ablation palpitations have stopped. But no one

Definitive Diagnosis
Next Tuesday I'm getting wired up for a week so my cardiologists can get a fuller picture of what's going on. Originally diagnosed with SVT and then Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia after the second failed ablation, I ended up in hospital 6 weeks ago with Atrial Flutter which required an electric cardioversion

Stopping Sotalol
I took one half pill last night and another half pill this morning. Is it safe to stop taking it altogether, i.e., now?

Pet Worries
I thought I would post an update. I had an indwelling Pleural catheter about 4 weeks ago and the district nurses having been coming out most days to drain me. It has been hard getting the balance right between frequency of visits and volume. At first it seemed that as fast as the nurses were draining

Can’t believe it misdiagnosed again now looks as though I also have kidney cancer.
I am feeling very deflated. I hadrecurrence of oc in October last year. Had mixed response to carbo on its own, decision was then made for wkly taxol again mixed response. At this point it was suggested I seek further help from the Christie’s. As they had no further treatment to offer me. Christie

CT has shown ‘cling film’ like tumour over a part of my bowel, I had a stoma during surgery and it’s still working ok but my Ca125 has risen again from a couple of weeks ago Onc said no tumours in any organs, bones or infiltrating bowels and no ascites (phew) and had my daughter, sister and I in stitches

Wish I had put a whole lot of money on it!! Still, knew it was coming. Hey ho and here we go - again.
Hi-de-hi all you lovely ladies. Well, I would have been a rich woman if I had put a large bet on my cancer being on the march again. Had my PET scan and CA125 test on Monday and looked online later to see that the CA had risen quite a bit. Saw the oncologist today for the PET results and he was

Atrial Flutter and Shingles
Two years ago, after ankle reconstruction surgery, I was diagnosed with SVT. After two unsuccessful ablations (and Verapamil and Flecainide) my specialist said that I have Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia (MAT) and put me on Sotalol (40mg twice a day). That mostly kept things under control and if I had

The Beast Within
Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I was diagnosed in 2015 with stage 3B grade 1 breast cancer and given a 6-12 death sentence since I was not on board with chemo nor radiation....I wanted to heal my body with naturals. After 18 months of not being able to shrink the tumor or better yet rid my body

Late/delayed effects of taxol and filgrastim (neupogen)?
Hi all. Mum finished her 3rd line of treatment - weekly Taxol - a couple of months ago now. She had regular injections of filgrastim to keep her white cell count high, and although it worked, it gave Her terrible aches and pains. Her last scan was good and we were told the next one would not be needed
