Hi all and hope you are doing well. I am new to the community. In November 2000 I was diagnosed with infiltrative lobular carcinoma. I had 4 rounds of Adriamycin Cytoxin and was on Tamoxifen for 5 years. This past December 2017, I was diagnosed with a metastatic breast cancer, affecting my peritoneum, and have just completed 6 rounds of Taxol. I am HER2 negative and estrogen and progesterone positive. I'd like to learn what treatments others are having or have had for peritoneal metastasis from breast cancer. Thanks in advance!

Metastatic Peritoneal Carcinomatosis
Hey there, nice to meet you. I was stage 2 in April 2016. IDC w micromets to one lymph node. Hormone positive and Her2-. I had lumpectomy and radiation. In October 2015, started having irregular spotting. After multiple endometrial biopsies, my Pap smear showed presence of BC cells on cervix. Diagnosed 1/31/18 w stage 4. Mets are to bones and a small spot on scalp. Started folsadex and letrozole in February. Started Ibrance and xgeva in April.
Hugs.
Lobular bc can be sneaky and spread to places other breast cancers don't..... but Lobular is generally hormone driven and often does respond well to hormonal treatment. I have invasive lobular with bone mets and have done really well for 14 years, since diagnosis with mets from the get go. I got almost five years from Femara and over 9 years from Faslodex. If you were to see me out and about, you would never guess that I have cancer, nor that I am as old as I am (72). I hope you will do well, too! THere is much to be hopeful about with lobular!
