Open heart surgery medication and viagra
I had an AVR and double bypass on 26/02/2020 and, after an initial lung problem, am recovering well. Having consulted with my surgeon, GP and cardiac nurse, I am under the impression that viagra should not react adversely with the drugs I am on, but was advised to leave it for the first few months as

Some advice on meds
Hi all, My husband is two weeks post AVR Now and doing ok. Naturally very tired though and has good and bad days. I was wondering about his medication which he is on about 8 tablets. A few of them stop this weekend. One of the drugs is spironolactone, which we were just told it’s a potassium sparing

Failing Heart/Overactive Thyroid
Feeling very alone with all this, especially at his time. Has anyone else had similar symptoms to me? I started with AF about 7 years ago. It was treated with (the dreaded) Amiodarone for 2 years, (worked well) but I had to stop taking it when I developed overactive thyroid. From February 2019 I have

Audio books
Does anyone know where I can get audio books where I don’t have to pay a subscription, just want to be able to buy them as and when I want them, but all the sites I have looked at you have to have a subscription. I want to try this as a way to relax me and help me get to sleep. Thanks x🌈

How do you feel daily since your diagnosis? Am I normal?
Back in Nov. of 2019 I had bad swelling in my abdomen so a friend took me to the ER. I was a daily beer drinker 8-12 a day for approximately 26 years. The last 7 of those years I was drinking Vodka and soda. They said I had problems with my liver and needed paracentesis, I stayed in the hospital for

Breathing and "funny feeling"
I take Bisoprolol, Digoxin, Rivaroxaban,
Furosemide
,
Spironolactone
, Candesartan. I tend to struggle to breath on exertion a lot of the time and sometimes when I am out of breath I have a funny sensation a bit like a hot flush going through my body.

Ramipril Medication Change
Hiya - update on my meds and general health. I had been taking my usual 5mg Bisoprolol 2.5 Ramipril 25mg Spirolactone and keeping in NSR now since December 11th 2019 however, I developed a kind of masky film over my throat - always constantly trying to clear my throat after eating food. Cardiac nurse

Sorry another random question
Hi all. Sorry I keep asking random questions....has anyone ever experience a severe dry mouth when taking medications? My mums mouth only now again drys and shrivels up so much it’s quite strange to witness. She takes water and then it’s fine again. She’s sipping water all day long. I contacted her GP

Naturally High Testosterone causes water retention?
I have had oily skin since I was a kid, I am now 38 years old. I have been having outbreaks of acne since I was young. I got my hormones tested today and my testosterone is very high, I am not taking supplements or any weird stuff. Could this explain my water retention? (its listed as a side effect
