Back in Nov. of 2019 I had bad swelling in my abdomen so a friend took me to the ER. I was a daily beer drinker 8-12 a day for approximately 26 years. The last 7 of those years I was drinking Vodka and soda. They said I had problems with my liver and needed paracentesis, I stayed in the hospital for almost a week. I couldn't find a primary care doctor but was getting drained once a week.
I haven't had to be drained since February 11th of 2020. I also haven't been drinking at all since November 2019.
I have never been officially diagnosed with Fatty Liver, Cirrhosis, Liver Disease, or anything by a doctor that I have "X." I know it is liver disease because I have had fluid drained from my abdomen, I take furosemide, spirolactone, and Neomycin to prevent further fluid build up. My blood work after 6 mos has returned to normal but I still tire, get lethargic, dizzy. Am I on track to better because I just don't know. Is this normal. Doctors just sugar coat and say its the way it is now but I feel like there is more to gain and get normal again. I would like to know how other people feel or do feel. Sometimes I feel just fine and like today I feel tired and have a bowling ball for a head. I go bicycle riding everyday for an hour
