New diagnosis of HF and Cardiomyopathy
My EF was 15 and I am now on the highest doses of meds available including Entresto, Bisoprolol, Dapagliflozin,
Furosemide
and
Spironolactone
. I had a review echocardiogram 2 weeks ago and despite maximum dose my EF is still 15.

Ascites Long Term
My medication includes
spironolactone
and
furosemide
but at the moment my spiro has been stopped as it affects my kidneys at times. No cause for my ascites has been found and the gastro consultant appears to have given up and has passed me on to geriatric medical. I am 69.

compensated question
Still on 180 mg dueretics though. 100
spironolactone
and 80
furosemide
. Their plan now is to reduce that dose slowly. I’m still on 2x 3.125 carvedilol a day also plus lactalose every other day. This is not compensated is it? I thought all meds would have to be gone before I could say that.

I have been diagnosed with Conns disease benine growths on kidneys. This causes my BP to be irregular. I had never heard of this until now. Initially I was prescribed Spironolactone, this increased my potassium levels to 5.6. Told to stop taking these. After 1 month prescribed elperetone, this is causing

I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on FSH and LH. I am extremely worried and upset and would be grateful for any help. I am a 29 year old female and I was diagnosed with PCOS back in August 2017 (due to an enlarged right ovary on a scan coupled with hair loss, some acne, facial hair

Does Diltiazem (Angitil SR90) make you feel very tired?
Hi there, mum gas just been swapped from verapamil to angitil. She's also come off her usual spironolactone (on since Oct 23) since it was causing renal failure. I've never seen her so tired and exercise intolerant - has anyone else experienced this? She suffers principally from diastolic heart failure

Caelyx/ carboplatin side effect retention of fluids
Dearest,Hope all good. Since i was in the hospital, 11 days for a bacteria in my porth-a-cath, my body did a huge retention of liquids in my feet and legs. Extremely painful. Anyone else suffer the same? Did your doctor have reservation to prescribe lasix instead of spironolactone due to the potassium

Spironolactone
I'm aged 63 years. I am currently taking Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, Ramipril, Warfarin, Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Omeprazole and Spronolactone. I have been on the same medication for around 10 years, having had an Aortic Valve replacement 12 years ago. Until recently, there have been no problems with the medication
