compensated question
Still on 180 mg dueretics though. 100
spironolactone
and 80
furosemide
. Their plan now is to reduce that dose slowly. I’m still on 2x 3.125 carvedilol a day also plus lactalose every other day. This is not compensated is it? I thought all meds would have to be gone before I could say that.

Ascites Long Term
My medication includes
spironolactone
and
furosemide
but at the moment my spiro has been stopped as it affects my kidneys at times. No cause for my ascites has been found and the gastro consultant appears to have given up and has passed me on to geriatric medical. I am 69.

Caelyx/ carboplatin side effect retention of fluids
Dearest,Hope all good. Since i was in the hospital, 11 days for a bacteria in my porth-a-cath, my body did a huge retention of liquids in my feet and legs. Extremely painful. Anyone else suffer the same? Did your doctor have reservation to prescribe lasix instead of spironolactone due to the potassium

Spironolactone
I'm aged 63 years. I am currently taking Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, Ramipril, Warfarin, Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Omeprazole and Spronolactone. I have been on the same medication for around 10 years, having had an Aortic Valve replacement 12 years ago. Until recently, there have been no problems with the medication

Hi, I am new to posting but have been reading for some time. I was diagnosed with afib in 2021 and also had a stroke caused by a brain bleed. I am now in PAF which kicks in every 2 weeks or so, lasting a few hours. When this happens I usually have a "funny turn" , feel a bit faint for a few seconds

SPIRONOLACTONE 25 MG TABLET
Can anyone please tell me if spironolactone interferes with RLS? If so, are there any other b/p meds that can be a good substitute? I'm already taking HCTZ and lisinopril.

Spironolactone.
I have been taking Spironolactone for one week, 25mg daily, which isn’t a very high dosage. Already I seem to be experiencing some side effects, tickly throat, severe bloating etc. Has anyone else noticed any side effects. Thank you. PhylK.
