Hello all. New to this lovely community, I've been feeling the need to reach out to other to people going through similar experiences as mine. In 2017 my 48 yr old mother had a large tumor (golf ball sized) growing from her left leg. Initially the doctors did not think it was melanoma or in fact malignant

Tired all the time, really really tired. Cholesterol. My diet is excellent, rich in green leafy veg. Don't drink alcohol, don't smoke. BP now 125/80 while my norm for decades has been 100/60. Unable to lose weight unless I drop calories to below 600 per day, which means literally starving. After no joy

Update on Migraine
Hecsaid I may have a low grade
Spinal
Meningitis and was going to give me
Spinal

Tampenadol
My pain specialist has suggested trying Tampenadol 50mg twice a day for chronic back and leg pain. I've been on it a couple of days so far it's not been enough to cope with flare up pain during the day so I've had to either use oramorph or tramadol to cope . What doses are people on and how long do

The journey to recovery (viral meningitis)
I finally asked for a
spinal
tap
cause I was desperate and there came the diagnosis 10 days later. What is sad to say is that I actually practice medicine... and this was way at the bottom of my differential.

Back pain and complications after surgery
Hi everyone I'm finding lots of useful help on here and it helps to know I'm not alone. I've had lower back problems for 5 years now which started after moving a child at school ( I work with autistic children) At first I thought I'd pulled a muscle but it didn't go away and just got worse and worse

Pain clinic
Hi everyone I suffer from Neuropathic leg pain and back pain arising from a operation I had to repair a bulging disc. I was told that I could have a spinal cord stimulator after going to pain clinic. My question is what do you say to them? As I went to the assessment with my wife who was told she could

Life is a living hell, crippling fatigue and brain fog
I think I've done pretty much everything short of getting a brain scan, stool sample, or
spinal
tap
, all of which seem kind of unnecessary and "out there" but who knows. Any advice/thoughts? What first comes to mind? I am extremely desperate and at my wits end with this shit...

Could Back and Neck Pain and Positional Headaches Be Related to My Pelvic Floor Issues?
I have had CT scans and a
spinal
tap
with no answers. If it is related to the pelvic floor, what could be done about it? What kind of doctor could I see or what type of treatment could I seek?
