I’m new here
I had a severe attack of
spinal
stenosis
in the vertebrae where my tumor is. I had emergency
spinal
surgery as I couldn’t walk without extreme pain. I’m recovering now and had to quit my full time job. I can no longer take the stress of commuting and working full time.

spinal stenosis
As well as waiting for a hip replacement I have recently had an MRI scan and have been diagnosed with
spinal
stenosis
. I vaguely know what this entails but can anyone here give me any tips on how to cope with it. My GP is arranging for me to attend a Pain Clinic.

Recent SCS Implant
Good morning to everyone. I've recently had a spinal cord stimulator implanted and whilst the spinal site is healing really well and I am getting pain relief, the battery unit implanted on my left side on my lower ribs is driving me mad!. It is extremely painful, sticks out quite considerably and precludes

New here-going to MS clinic this week
While waiting for my MS appt, I Go to spine Dr and while my l5/s1 is pretty much fused, there is no
spinal
stenosis
or explanation for feet pain. GP sends me to pain clinic who gives me baclofen and nucynta. So now I am on 5 different pain meds!! And still not very controlled.

Anything besides MS?
Not to mention, the curved spine, degenerative discs, arthritis,
spinal
canal
stenosis
. Anyways, my question is: do people with MS (mine was diagnosed in 2013) have other autoimmune diseases or congenital issues??

Spinal cord stimulator: one year later
I have Complex regional pain syndrome in my left arm which occur due to a fracture to my ulnar styloid. In 2016 I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted to help control the pain and allow me to have use of my arm. I was lucky enough for it to work well for me. In feb 2017 I started training as a chef

Anyone with spinal cord stimulator?
I'm considering one for neuropathy in my feet. Not diagnosed with MS yet (going to MS clinic on Thursday, yay!). My pain doc said it might be hard to get insurance to cover it for MS related pain. Curious if anyone else has one?

Pudental Neuralgia
Prior to having a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted I had another lumbar MRI. I knew from an earlier MRI I had a bulging L5S1 disc This MRI showed the L5S1 disc had ruptured. I have read on line this can lead to Caudal Equina Syndrome as well as cause compression of Pudental nerve via the Piriformis

May or May Not have PC
My PSA is 44. Has been gradually increasing for about 8 years. I know the PSA itself is of little value, but see it as a tool. My Naturopath has had a number between 60-100 for 20 years. I would only become concerned if it started leaping upward. One biopsy was enough. Won't do another. No surgery. No
