I just had to post this, unbelievable!!
DMSO, or dimethyl sulfoxide, seems to be a total miracle substance, but of course no money in it for big pharma. I am just looking on the net for more info. I am interested, after reading a post from another member, about using DMSO as a carrier for L'carnitine tartrate, to stimulate hair growth.

Spinal Cord Stimulator update
Well, this thing that has been on the horizon for such a long time now is right in front of my nose! I'll be going into St Thomas' Thursday afternoon to have the trial stimulator fitted on Friday. It's a two week trial of a Nevro high frequency, which means there will be no buzzing or tingling - which

Masked Face
I wonder how successful we can be in retaining an expressive face. I have become worried about this and incorporate face exercises into my daily exercise routines and I'm amazed at how stiff my face feels. Has anyone had encouraging results?

I am still here!
Hello Everyone, I haven't posted for a while but have been checking in with you all everyday and responding to a few posts. I've been quiet because I've been trying to get my head around the long process of surgery and recovery ahead as it looks like I'll be going for the Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery

Recently diagnosed brainstem cavernoma
I have double vision and numbness down the left hand side. I have had a recent bleed in the brain stem and have been told by my neurosurgeon in south africa that it is inoperable. Any advice? Anyone else in a similar situation? Will rest help with bleed and swelling in the brain? How long will it

Spinal Fusion Surgery
I am a 78 year old female with fractures of T-12 L1,2,3,4. I also have severe Osteoporosis, degenerative disc. Fracture was 2 years ago with no healing. Surgery is recommended. What are your suggestions. I really don't want to do this, but am open to other observations.

A little bit of help?
I'm new here and I'm 16 years old, in 2011 I was hit by a car. My left ankle was totally destroyed and after 1 hour of the nurses debating to have my ankle amputated they decided to try their best and repair my ankle, after about a year I started getting really bad pain in my ankle. I would walk only

Chronic wrist pain after surgery.
Hi guys. So I've just found the site and thought I'd say hi. I'm Dan a 31yr old male. Let me tell you my story. Almost 12 years ago now I dislocated and broke my wrist in a sporting accident whilst in the army. I then spent the next 2 years with it hurting and after a few scans and exploratory surgery

Hail Caesar! Double double vision vision again again
Visitors from far flung parts of the Empire were visiting ing Thursday so there was no sauntering or strolling. Friday's stroll brought back the double vision, as did today's so I can't see the C25K scurrying starting on Tuesday as planned. Am due to see Nurse Epilepsia on Monday so will start there
