Lercanidipine - anyone have any experience with it?
Have just been taken off amlodipine because of swelling of the ankles/lower leg, setting the area on the leg damaged by cellulitis off and swelling in two fingers. Doc has put me on Lercanidipine to lower my bp. Am also on Apixaban. It was on this forum that I read about these side effects with amlodipine

What shall I do?
I’m new to this condition (AF). I am waiting for my telephone conversation with a cardiologist at my local hospital. As I am having AF episodes nearly every other day (yesterday I had an episode in the morning at 9am when I had just woke up and another at 11.30pm) can I take paracetamol or anything

Pain in side?
I have had severe pain in my right side for 8 months or so. Had CT scan during admission but as always my lungs to precedence. Seen pain management in February after scan showed tiny impact fracture. But it's not that. I do have lots of bone pain and may have another nerve block. This pain is at waist

Postherpetic neuralgia from Shingles
I am 75 and I have Postherpetic neuralgia from Shingles, which I had on my perineum. It has now been over one year and I am feeling really low. There is nothing the doctors seem to be able to do as they say there is no other treatment and it has to take its course. I am on 200mg per day Pregabalin

4 months post Ablation
and heart still behaving, have a few ectopics here and there but nothing much. Had 3 month follow up Tuesday by telephone due to current situation (only a month late) and EP very pleased with my progress. Told me mitral regurgitation (seen on TOE during ablation) was mild so absolutely nothing to worry

Soooo freaking panicky
I’m going to go get nerve block shots in the back of both sides of my head. I’m freakin scared of that, and I’m taking a transportation service. I’ll be alone in a car with a driver. Now that makes me nervous. I don’t trust people easily. I’m shaking and sweating and just can’t calm down. I’m trying

Vulvodynia aching and burning pain
Hi everyone, I am new here and this is my first post. I am wondering if anyone else has the same kind of pain as me? I was diagnosed with vulvodynia by a vulval specialist after a year of the usual merry go round of numerous doctors, thrush treatments, etc (even told it was lichen sclerosis). I also

More issues going on with mom :/ I understand if you guys are sick of me posting. I just have no one now. And I DO need support.
So, there was an incident I guess... My moms wife has Amazon Prime. She’s always let me use it. I ordered some speakers, along with a 2 year warranty but on my own credit card. I mean, I always use my own credit card because I’m buying stuff for me? Why would I use someone else’s credit card?? Anyway

Hi I've just received my report from my EP on the 7 day Bardy Carnation Ambulatory Monitor I recently had attached. No AF episodes recorded with sinus rhythm throughout. There were some short non sustained bursts of atrial tachycardia and atrial ectopy which appear to be symptomatic but these were very

Dr Gupta chat ❣️
Hi ... Spoke to Dr Gupta, who was lovely as expected. Can't say 100% as it's a Kardia reading and not a 12 lead, but he thinks I have flutter/atrial tachycardia with heart block. Meaning my atria is fluttering but not reaching my ventricals, hence the low rate. Basically it's what a pace and ablate

Occipital Neuralgia: UPDATE
Hello everyone (: I hope you all had a good day, despite these nasty pains! I had posted something last week about me possibly having Occipital Neuralgia. I had my appt today with the pain specialist/neurologist and, well, it turns out that I do! Honestly, in a good but weird way, I am relieved. Wanting

Covid-19 and Long QT Syndrome - risks of returning to work
Hi ive not worked for a while and have the offer of a job at short notice but it would be working on a manufacturing site and not from home. As I also have some anxiety I am getting terrified of the risk of catching Covid-19 , especially as I have Long QT Syndrome which means some of the anti- malaria

Should I go to A and E?
I have had two ablutions for AF, I have since been diagnosed with atrial tachycardia, I was due to have an ablation for this at the end if March. Since last Sunday I have had tachycardia, pulse 125 bpm, I have been taking sotalol40 mg bd, but pulse has remained rapid. I spoke to the arrhythmia nurse

Hello 👋 Does anyone here have Occipital Neuralgia?
I am new to this group. I’m 27. I have had chronic migraines and chronic neck pain for 15 years now. I’ve been on quite a few things with no luck of relief. Even all of the new once monthly injection preventatives. Most of my days in the month are included with migraines. My doctor told me there was

Advice from your experience please.
Hello again, Hope you are all doing okay. I’ve been really helped by the supportive posts that I’ve been able to read on here. Thank you! I just wanted to ask people’s opinions really. I have a GP consultation in the morning, as I’m still having a lot of issues. I’ve been on flecainide 2 x 50mg
