Question about egg donation to egg recipient ?
Hi I haven’t been on here for a while as I have a son from nhs funded icsi and I am now looking into having another child and my best options So I like the idea of egg sharing as I also get to help someone else who I know what they are going through and deserve some happiness ! But here’s what I wanted

2nd cycle about to begin.
I am about to start my second cycle of icsi. After 3 years of trying and knowing my partner had fertility issues I also discovered I had stage 3 endometriosis last year. Our first round of icsi was unsuccessful as I only managed 2 eggs and neither fertilised. Our consultant has informed me my chances

No period 8 weeks after chemical pregnancy with icsi
So I had my first icsi attempt on the 3rd November.. I had 6 positive tests and then one negative when I started to bleed still now I haven’t had a period? Shall I do a test? Is there a chance I could be pregnant? X

Anyone who has followed my other post will know that my second fresh icsi cycle did not workout. I can’t even bring myself to ring the clinic and tell them yet. I thought that having one in the freezer would make me feel better, but at the moment it isn’t, it just feels like future heartache. So far

Bad news and really bad timing....
So I wrote last week about my slow growing embryo after having had icsi and yesterday we paid for a private scan. Unfortunately it showed there was no longer a heartbeat. We have an appointment tomorrow at the emergency gynae unit to discuss options. I think a natural miscarriage is starting, due to

How to choose a private clinic
Happy new year everyone! Sadly we had a failed NHS funded ICSI with donor sperm and it was our only shot. We're now gonna go private but trying to find a fertility clinic is very overwhelming. We live in Buckinghamshire. We're also considering clinics abroad as hubby would prefer donor anonymity but

Can anyone share your expereince of ICSI after 40?
I had my first failed ICSI with two embryos transferred. Everything was going smooth during the process, and had no problem with my uterus. I thought it would succeed this time with two embryos implemented. But not the case. Just like to know if anyone who is over 40 and have succeed after 2nd or 3rd

Late period. Any advice?
I hope you are well and someone can help. I had my eggs collection back in November and then had ICSI. The 1 embryo is now frozen and ready to be implanted. I had a period 2 weeks after. But nothing in December, which was due on 14th December. I finally convinced myself that I should take a pregnancy

Starting ICSI tomorrow but what to tell work?!
So had our planning appointment today.. the first one of the year and we've been told we can start injections tomorrow! Talk about good timing. We have all the gear and ready to go and I'm on a long cycle. Very nervous about injections, but lots of people has said it's not as bad as all that and hubs

Treatment in Scotland
After some festive soul searching my hubby and I feel rather than wait for Nhs treatment for icsi we would like to self fund. We are based in south west Scotland so would need to travel. Should we just be patient and wait or has anyone self funded? Keen to hear about experiences with both.

2nd Time Lucky?
Hi All, I found out just before Christmas that our first round of ICSI failed and now awaiting our appointment to go back and discuss. I am feeling very low still and everything makes me want to cry. I cant seem to get myself back into being positive and strong like I was on the first round. Anyone

Negative result post first round of IVF
I’ve never written a post on any sites (other than FB) and so this is a first for me. I’m 2 days past getting a BFN on our first and probably only self funded round of IVF. I don’t know how I feel anymore. Numb. I didn’t think I’d feel this devastated and neither did my husband. All the odds were stacked

How to cope with BFN
Dear Forum members I am struggling to deal with our most recent BFN, following a negative test last Friday. I am on annual leave at the moment and feeling very low. I am glad I don't have to go to work until 3 January and I am dreading going back and returning to 'normality'. I continue to ask 'why

Help with timescales???
Hi Girls, I'm 28 healthy weight etc, needing ICSI due to my partner having Cystic Fybrosis so he cannot produce sperm naturally. He has already had his procedure to extract the sperm direct from his testicles which was done back in October and results can back fine for us to go ahead with ICSI 👏🏼👍
