IVF or FET
Hi all, I’ve been for my follow up appointment today. I had a failed ICSI last month. One frozen grade 4/5AA. My AMH is 9.4, it has been repeated today. I am 33. We had a long discussion about whether to go ahead with FET (plus prednisolone and doxycycline) or to keep this one on ice and go ahead with

Senstive post 12 weeks ❤️ HOPE
I booked a private 12 week scan on Saturday. Baby was kicking and sucking it’s thumb. I still can’t believe this is happening. I wanted to post this as Hope. It was our 4th Embryo transfer with a diagnosis of azoospermia ( 0 sperm count ) my partner had a surgical sperm retrieval and froze our swimmers

Only 1 egg fertilized
So I rec’d the call after EC, only 3 out of 8 eggs were mature and 1 fertilized via ICSI.😟 Now Hubbie and I are praying this one embie will hang on for dear life for ET on Monday. Feelings: blessed, scared and nervous. Dreading going back to work tonight as I am still tender. Plz keep us in your prayers

To have surgery or not
Hi all I had an ectopic pregnancy after 3 months of trying to cone dive in June last year. My Fallopian tube was removed. My AMH count was 9.4 I’ve just failed my first cycle of ICSI. I have one frozen IVF embryo. The working diagnosis is that I have endometriosis from from my emergency laparoscopy

FET day 6 blastocyst
Hi everyone. I feel so lucky this place exists! I don’t know who else I would talk too! Has anyone else had a successful pregnancy with a day 6 blastocyst FET? I’ve just failed ICSI on my first go and I have one frozen embryo available. This one is IVF. I’ve just realised that it was a day 6 embryo

Next icsi cycle end of June
Morning all from Sunny Turkey Me and Hubby decided a holiday before we start round 2 of IVF ICSi. I am going for a more natural IVF this time they say due to my last results. We had our BFN in October last year. I am feeling a lot more positive this time round and feel I know what to expect. Is there

AMH - do I have PCOS?
Hi everyone x Another question: I am 36 and my AMH is 5 ng/ml (or 35 pmol/L). Does this sound like PCOS or borderline PCOS? Different doctors have - again - given me different opinions on this. I have no other symptoms. I have done two rounds of ICSI on really high protocol and I was ok (apart from

ICSI
Hello ladies... well I have just got back from our follow up appointment at hammersmith after our 1st failed icsi treatment on the NHS. I had a load of questions to ask before we went in but once there all the emotions came flooding back and my mind went blank. On paper I should be 13 weeks pregnant

Hello everyone just a quiery really because of something I've just read, Basically my first fresh ICSI round failed and I'm now starting my FET cycle I'm 26 years old so I'm unsure weather this is playing a huge part but I've not been given any injections to take, any one else not had to take any injections

High % of immature eggs: possible solutions?
Hi lovely ladies, Another question for you. Yet again, different doctors seem to have conflicting opinions on this. I have done two rounds of ICSI, with very low egg maturation rate. First round: I got 14 eggs, but only 57% were mature. Second round: I got 13 eggs, but only 46% were mature. The

Progesterone side effects
Hi everyone, newbie here 🙋♀️ This is my first ICSI cycle and I had my day 3 ET on Thursday. I started taking the progesterone gel on Tuesday and just wondered when any of you started to get possible side effects from it? I've been really lucky so far as I didn't have any side effects from the down

Another pregnancy announcement... And a very insensitive one at that!
I know this is going to be a ranty post but I know this is the best place for it. A friend of mine.. Or at least i thought she was a friend hasn't asked about my journey since I told her I was starting my first round of ICSI. This was back in Feb. So tonight it finally comes up in conversation, well

So after starting our third round of ICSI a couple of months ago then having to stop and wait for my Dad to have genetic testing for Huntingtons Disease (another emotional rollercoaster!) we had the great news he is all clear so are now ready to go again!
