I feel so lucky this place exists! I don’t know who else I would talk too!
Has anyone else had a successful pregnancy with a day 6 blastocyst FET?
I’ve just failed ICSI on my first go and I have one frozen embryo available. This one is IVF. I’ve just realised that it was a day 6 embryo so probably meant it was slow growing. I have a meeting with my fertility specialist on Wednesday so I will ask more questions then too.
Thanks xx

We all do feel the same way... pretty much. I was just saying the same thing on another relevant post that no matter how much emthaphy, concern or care someone else out in the real world shows (especially if it's a woman) doesn't make it as heartfelt as it's in here. day-6 blast is pretty common one and therefore definitely there's loads of women who've had success with it. It's slow growing compaired to the 3day but I think 5-6 day is the most used varieties anyway. However, like you know there's no guarantee whatsoever... neither for success nor for failure (the second part sounds better to me). What are the grades of embryo like? Though the clinic will anyway opt for using the good ones first and keep the average ones for later on. What are your problems? Did the cause of infertility been diagnosed yet or it's the frustating unexplained one?
I think my grades were grade 2. The embryologist was really happy with the frozen blastocyst on day 6. He couldn’t tell the two apart on day 5, so he just went with his gut on which one to freeze and which to put back in.
I have endometriosis with a ectopic on the left side. So I know we can conceive it’s just getting it to stick in my uterus now!
How about you? What is your cause of infertility? When does your cycle of IVF start?
