I went for my scan this week to see if I am good to start round two of ICSI but they have found a polyp. As soon as she said it I knew I had to have it removed and was gutted that I will not be able to start again for a while.
Im feeling so pathetically sorry for myself at the moment cause both my best friend and sister in law are due in the next few weeks and I can’t even start treatment so feel like a complete failure. Went for tea with friends last night and one of them asked quietly how I’m doing and I burst into tears. I think I just feel like it’s one thing after another when everyone else is getting there’s... when’s it my turn
Rant over...
Anyone had a polyp removed?
How soon after can you start treatment again?

I had a similar experience a few years ago and can feel your disappointment. I was so upset at time but tried to turn it into a positive; by having the polyp removed my womb would be perfect for transfer.
It was around 5-6 months before I could have my fet. I was referred by my gp which took around 7 weeks from referral to op, then waited for 2 periods post op. The time actually went quite quickly. So try not to worry, before you know it, it will be transfer time. Oh and I was successful, I have a gorgeous little girl sitting with me now 😀
