I had an ectopic pregnancy after 3 months of trying to cone dive in June last year. My Fallopian tube was removed. My AMH count was 9.4
I’ve just failed my first cycle of ICSI. I have one frozen IVF embryo.
The working diagnosis is that I have endometriosis from from my emergency laparoscopy but they weren’t able to remove adhesions at that time. I wonder if I need a routine laparoscopy to “tidy things up”. I have developed quite a large emdonetrioma on one ovary.
I have a private appointment with an endometriosis specialist on Thursday.
But I was wondering if anyone have any experience on this?
Many thanks xxx

I always regretted not having a laparoscopy when I was trying. My consultant made it my choice and I said no. 6 months later I had a late ectopic which was due to severe endo around the tubes etc. I still to this day think about ‘what if!!’
It’s totally your decision and there’s no right or wrong. Every surgery causes adhesions etc but you may find a ‘tidy up’ may help!!
Best wishes and I hope one day you get that happy news xx
I had an eptopic a long time ago before they knew I had endo. I was told the best thing to do was to leave everything alone if I wanted children. after 4 failed icsi cycles we put it to bed an dmad epeace with it. when the pain got to much I had a lap and was diagnosed. After surgery my consultant said it would be the ideal time to try again but financially we weren't able to I always regret not pushing for surgery before having ivf. Good luck lovely xx
