When to try again...
Hey all Long story short is that my partner and I just had our first round of ICSI recipricol IVF. We used my eggs and put the a fresh embryo into my partner. Unfortunately we had a chemical and were heartbroken. We do have one more embryo frozen to try again but I'm just looking for some advice really

Aged 40, AMH of 16.5 but husband has low morphology
Hi, I’m 40 a new starting round 3 of ICSI. I have an AMH of 16.5, but by husband (42) has low morphology of 2.5%. We’ve had 2 miscarriages through ICSI, and two bfn’s. Are there any success stories out there? Love and baby dust. xx

Side effects from stims
Hi all, Well I’m back after our second miscarriage in February and have started our third round of ICSI. Currently on day 5 of stims (suprecur and meriofert). So far the side effects are headaches and nausea, fingers crossed no bloating yet. Have you any advice on how to ease the side effects when they

Natural Killer (NK) Cells Blood Test (Implantation Failure)
Has anyone had the natural killer cells test because of multiple implantation failure? We've now had 4 failed ICSI cycles with 7 embryos. Consultant doesn't seem to encourage any tests and just says it's to do with embryo even though top quality on day 3 transfers. I know they might be right but what

Ovulation After ICSI
Hi everyone, I had icsi about 6 weeks ago, I've had two periods since then. My first period was normal with normal timings and everything. This period just gone (so 2nd period since icsi cycle) was a few days earlier than expected, was a little lighter than normal and lasted a day longer than normal

Pregnant over 40?
Hi there Looking for first time success stories with ivf over 40. I’m 41 and will cycle this year or next for a sibling for our son with donor sperm. Worried about having to do multiple cycles due to the cost. Wondering if anyone got pregnant on their first go over 40? I did last time after a donor

*** SENSITIVE UPDATE - Baby pic enclosed *** Hope for those with early bleeding in pregnancy
Hi everyone I wanted to post a little update as a bit of hope for those who have bleeding in early pregnancy. I really hope that this doesn’t upset anyone as this is not my intention at all. My gorgeous girl was born on 16th June, arriving 2 weeks early following a successful ICSI cycle. At the start

Testing day BFN, advice needed please!
I'm feeling completed devastated today, I got a negative test. I feel like it's never going to work. No issues have been identified with me as we've always been told it's a sperm issue. We've done 4 rounds of ICSI with a total of 7 embryos which have all failed. Since our last failed cycle, hubby started

2nd round of ICSI, changed to long protocol, what are the side effects like?
Hi all, I’m due to start my second round of ICSI in the next couple of weeks. First time round I did the short protocol and didn’t get many symptoms, we got 10 eggs, but only 1 made it to transfer and it didn’t work. This time I’ve been changed to long protocol to try and get more eggs. I’m got mixed

One egg IVF success
In 2011 I had 2 rounds of IVF. Both rounds I only had 1 egg removed. The first round it didn't work, but the second round I got pregnant and had a successful birth. I now have a 9 year old daughter called Sienna. So miracles do happen! I had 5 IUI's with no stimulation drugs, then I switched to IVF,

2WW
I'm half way through my 2WW and I'm already going insane! I think it's the not knowing if our embryo has continued developing or implanted. There's nothing I can do as it's out of my control but I just really hope this time has worked. We've been TTC for 15 years and this is our 4th ICSI cycle. The past

Day 12 post egg retrieval and update from clinic this morning possible sensitive information
So yesterday wasn't half as painful as I'd expected it to be. I had mild cramps after the retrieval but paracetamol and an heat pad worked perfectly fine. But I am definitely tender and can feel a pulling feeling if I move quick etc other than that business as usual. I took another round of paracetamol

*sensitive* Birth announcement
I don't want to upset anyone, but wanted to share this since similar posts gave me hope. My last fresh 5 day transfer has just fallen asleep on me. He was born earlier this month after years of TTC, 3 IUIs and 2 rounds of ICSI. Here is to hope! Wishing you all the best on your journey!

Egg collection today
So, we had our EC first thing and I was very pleasantly surprised 😮 Friday's scan showed two good sized lead follicles, which were basically our only hope. The doctor mentioned I had two small follicles measuring 10 each but they didn't think these would grow enough. So I'd prepared my husband for 1

For those who’ve had ICSI
Please can you tell me why it was you were recommended to do ICSI rather than IVF? On our last cycle, we were told IVF with ICSI backup depending on sperm quality. In the end they did IVF but our fertilisation rate and quality of embryo was poor. This time I think I want to opt for ICSI specifically

Me and my 2 follicles are booked for EC Monday!
Had my stims day 10 scan today. The two follicles we saw Wed seem ok, 17 and 18, so we're going to attempt EC Monday first thing, rather than cancel. There are two v small follicles there too, both 10mm, so am not expecting much from them. Who knows though, I might get a bit of luck at last!! I'm a bit

Icsi at 42 & a half
Hey lovely people, I’m still in a real dilemma. I came on here last year asking for advice regarding doing ivf at 42 & people were so helpful. I have a good AMH (it was 22 last year) & I ovulate every month at the same time & still have a 28 day cycle. Although I know at 42, it’s unlikely I have good
