Why are my follicles so moody?

Hi Everyone. I’m currently on my 4th month of stims. Here’s been my journey:

Month 1 - I had 8 x follicles, started small, got bigger and then ovulated early so no luck

Month 2 - I had 2 x follicles with IUI that failed

Month 3 - I had 4 x follicles. 1 perfect embryo that transfered and didn’t implant. 1 okay frozen. The other 2 were ICSI and failed

….now…

I’m now in Month 4 - I had my first scan today with 10 x follicles (5 good, 5 small). To date, my first scans have been much less promising. I’m not getting my hopes up - my stims have been varied.

BUT WHY: Ladies why does it change so much every month? I’m 39 years old. Have endo. Am 90 days sober. And have a bloody stressful job.

Why do the follicles change so much?

Hi VMJ007 Each cycle of treatment can be quite different from the one before - nothing you can do will change this -it is all down to mother nature , hormone levels etcGood luck for the future
