*just saw another post - please do send any ideas by DM, thank you*
Hello wonderful ladies,
Can I preface this request and info with the fact that compared to what some of you are going through, this is nothing, but this community is amazing and maybe you can help! 🙏
After another failed transfer (number 4 - chemical, which follows a negative on OTD (second IVF round - fresh transfer), early miscarriage (FET) and chemical (first IVF round - fresh transfer), and crappy support from my clinic, I’m on the search for a new clinic.
We’re very lucky in that neither of us have any reported issues (although we haven’t had any tests done yet). I’m 38, he’s 46. My womb lining is always good, got 2 x good quality day-5 blastocysts on our first round and 5 x good quality day-5 blastocysts on our second round. No motility issues etc, standard IVF both time’s, no icsi.
We’ve got 3 Frosties still and our consultant is just like, keep putting them in, one will stick eventually, but it’s driving me insane they he won’t explore other testing, saying there is no medical efficacy to most of them.
Implantation is obviously possible but it never progresses. Looking for a specialist in this area who will be able to help with this and if you have recommendations also on the type of tests we could look at, it would be super appreciated.
Love and hugs to you all, and LOTS of 🌈🌈🌈🌈

I would look at getting ERA/Emma/Alice tests done, would also look at the Chicago bloods. I tend to have alot of CP and have had 2 MC ... but immunes has been flagged as my issue. So before anymore transfers I now have to undergo a whole immune treatment plan with humira, plaquenil, steroids and IVIG so tat my body won't attack the pregnancy and implantation site. Hope this offers some useful info, I wouldn't be inclined to keep transferring without additional testing.. Best of luck x
Dr. Gorgy specialises in immunes if this is your issue .. I know they offer open days where you can book a free 15min consultation.. so you could potentially get his advise on your case also. I'm based in Ireland so cycling here for the moment but open to travelling to London
I was with the same clinic for three transfers, the third ending in a CP and was the one where we included blood thinners and did a double me transfer which I felt helped me get a little further along. I don’t think you need an ERA as you’ve fallen pregnant so that’s not your issue, and it wasn’t mine either because I had fallen pregnant twice before (naturally, ended in MMC and the CP). When our clinic said to keep going and they wouldn’t change anything, we moved to a new clinic for our fourth transfer. We did a new fresh cycle despite having two in the freezer from my first, and the clinic repeated all tests and more incl. doing a full immune report which flagged up elevated NK cells and TG antibodies - both of which need treating with steroids. My fourth transfer, whilst my toughest physically, worked and I’m pregnant with twins and so far all is going well. So change can be good - mentally as much as physically! I felt so much better for trying something brand new. ☘️ Xx
Thanks so much and many congratulations! The immune system stuff seems to be coming up a lot - so I’ll be finding out more about that. Absolutely, I need a change I think - but with 3 Frosties left I wonder if you can just move them to a new clinic?? Will find out I guess! Thanks again, really helpful ask so appreciated.
Thanks LouLou, I don’t think we’re supposed to mention names openly - so I’ll DM you just now x
I have just moved to a clinic in London to start donor, can PM you the name. They seem to do a lot more tests than my last clinic did but sometimes I am a bit sceptical its a bit money grabbing! One thing I would recommend is the repeat MC blood tests, it could be you have a blood clotting disorder. I think you can get them on the NHS but it might be quicker via the clinic x
Hey. Curious to know what clinic you have been at? I am just starting out with a London-based clinic, and so far I really like them (but it’s my first clinic and we’ve not really started yet!). So if you want to DM, then we can exchange info!! 💕
I agree with the comments about an ERA test. Just got results of mine this morning and it showed that my lining was 48 hours behind the receptivity window meaning my embryos do not survive long enough for my lining to be receptive for implantation. I’ve had multiple biochemical pregnancies and failed FET with euploid 5d blast, so this explains a lot. Sounds like it’s time to change clinics for sure. I’m not based in your area, so no recommendation there, but when you speak with other clinics I think it worth while to inquire about the ERA. Hope that helps!
