Advice please
We have found out he has a fracture in one of his vertebrae caused by CPR and our doctor has prescribed 2
Solpadol
tablets 4 times a day. We are also trying acupuncture too. The problem is he isn't eating very well at all and has begun sleeping nearly all day since starting the meds.

I'm also currently prescribed
Solpadol
and Ponstan Forte to relieve the pain but it only helps occasionally! I'm hoping to find out more about the coil and hopefully give that a go soon!

Painkillers
I was in pain while reducing from 15mg to 12.25 and was prescribed
Solpadol
30mg/500mg which I have found quite effective even only taking 2 and maybe 4 per day. What painkillers do others take if at all?

help for my husband with chronic pain
The strongest medication they are prescribing is
Solpadol
which just paracetamol with some codeine which is barely doing anything for the pain. He was referred to the pain management clinic where he saw a Physio and she has said this is the strongest level of medication that can be prescribed.

This is Me
After trying an assortment of medications, having some really horrible side effects, I am now back to the beginning and surviving on
solpadol
. Not and ideal situation but they do help a little. My distraction techniques are knitting, music, audio books and reading, family history.

I have had this condition for 10 years, but never yet found anything that helps the pain, having tried NSAID's and co-codamol/
solpadol
without success.

How effective is zoladex for reducing your pain?
I don't do well with hormone pills and do not want the coil, so see zoladex as my only real option, other than stronger painkillers (currently on
solpadol
and naproxen), which will probably make me less able to function with side effects. All advice and experiences welcome X

Confused after gynae appointment - need advice
My periods are extremely heavy and painful, I take tramadol, co-dydramol, mefenamic acid and
solpadol
usually for the pain - mainly tramadol as it has proved the most effective but doesn't generally work on its own.
