Changing brands of T4 - will I notice any difference?
Hi, I believe most of you here are in the UK so you may not know this brand (I'm in Belgium and I've had to order it from France), but I am about to switch from the Belgian brand L-Thyroxine to Thyrofix and I wondered whether anyone had any experience of the latter or a brand with the same or similar

Roma – Liothyronine Sodium Hard Capsules
As of yesterday, a new liothyronine product has become available in the UK. I do not know which companies are distributing the product. I do not know the cost - they are not in the current NHS Tariff - we expect the February 2022 Tariff in the last few days of January. Ingredients are Maize starch,

Update
Cardiologist is putting me forward for 2nd ablation, this time with a general, he said it will be more successful. Taking powdered magnesium now so hope that helps although it seems to make me tired . Not sure how long I will have to wait for ablation but I hope it’s not long so I can get back to work

Iron + magnesium - bothered
I am experimenting with magnesium following some recent posts. I believe someone (jools?) is taking 100mg. I'm using magnesium bisglycinate and took one (88mg) last night, about 30 min before taking my alternate day iron bisglycinate (25mg) [on an empty stomach, of course]. The prior night had been RLS

Question about magnesium
I have been on 1500 mg of gabapentin which completely controls my RLS but since about a month and a half ago about once a week, I do have RLS symptoms. I talked to my doctor today and he suggested I try magnesium. For those who have found it helpful: 1) How much magnesium do you take? 2) How far apart

High TSH, High T4, Low T3 - advice please
Hi everyone, I posted on here around 6 weeks ago after feeling worse and worse and getting nowhere with my GP/Endo. I had RAI back in Feb 20 and since coming off block and replace (due to the reaction after RAI), I can’t say I’ve felt well for more than a couple of weeks at a time. I really started going

Thinking of using NDT or private trial of T3- advice please
Fed up after years of treatment with levo only, have decided to see if NDT or T3/combination therapy might help restore my health. Have asked GP without success. Vitamin Test Results advice for GP call
Hello all, I will try to be brief... Not many posts for a while, as I was working with Endo and it takes time between med changes and results etc. Current meds: 100mcg levothyroxine Mon-Sat + 75 mcg on a Sun (since August 2021). Any previous increase and I experience symptoms which I believe to be over-medication

Epsom salt bath
I have AF and mostly controlled raised blood pressure, so my question is can I use Epsom salts to soak in a a bath? I have heard it can really help with muscular aches and pains, plus is it a way to get magnesium into the body? My lad tells me it’s also really relaxing ☺️ Thank you .

Help please
Hi everyone. Hoping for some help. My dad has been in hospital for 3 weeks. He has had 2 bleeds on the brain which have stopped. His main issue is uncontrolled vomiting. He is being sick within seconds of eating and drinking. He may keep down breakfast for a bit longer than other meals but eventually

New supplement
Hi, I’ve been reading a lot of good reviews about L-Theanine for anxiety. So far Magnesium and Vitamin D and Omega3 Supplements have been working well for me. But recently I feel like I need a little kick. I don’t take any meds just supplements. Has anyone tried it and if so do you recommend it?

Magnesium supplements and atrial flutter.
Are magnesium supplements beneficial in controlling atrial flutter? Is evidence from personal experience or clinical studies available?

Use of Magnesium for RLS?
I realize that Magnesium has numerous benefits, including perhaps with RLS and, of course, sleep. I'm also a chronic headacher so I take Magnesium for that. However, is there any guidelines for amount of Magnesium for RLS relief?

Mineral supplement?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone gives their kiddo a mineral supplement. I know, often ADHD kids are lacking in Zinc and Magnesium. I am thinking about a mineral supplement and wondering if anyone has recommendations. Thanks!
