Natural Bone Supplement?

I'm looking to start a good calcium supplement. Which type of calcium is best? Calcium from the sea like "algae" ? I've heard "citrate" is better absorbed as you get older..? Also want Vit. K, boron, Vit. D, magnesium. Does anyone have a brand that has been recommended to you? Thanks!

Hi surf101. Here is a good article on taking calcium supplements: americanbonehealth.org/nutr...

You are correct that citrate is more easily absorbed. It can be taken with or without food. Calcium carbonate needs to be taken with food. There is not a lot of solid evidence behind the claims of some of the specialty calcium supplements. A cheap generic will work well for most people.
