Hi everyone, I do not have CLL but I do have the itchy, pins and needles prickly feeling on my upper arms at night when I cover up. Once it starts it's relentless. I spoke to my Dermatologist about it and she said it sounded like a nerve problem. She prescribed me Fluocinonide cream 0.05 percent. I rub

Advice about diarrhoea symptoms please
I have had very little assistance from my GP in relation to my Pernicious Anaemia with gastric parietal cell antibodies diagnosis earlier this year. GP reluctantly agreed 5 loading doses but no more than three monthly injections after that, even though I have neurological symptoms. I have been supplementing

pegasys and migraines
I see from a recent post response that there are others on Pegasys who have suffered from migraines. I have been on 45 mcg weekly for a few months and have just had an excruciatingly painful migraine. I have had a few less painful ones. I’m hoping some patients will share their experience on this

ICU recovery nightmare
Was in ICU for 6 days following a seizure due to low sodium (92) due they think to stomach virus though still having investigations for Addisons. 2 ambulances, helicopter , CPR , a stroke originally suspected. No ICU diary kept by hospital , no discharge help, no rehab , no advice on how I would feel

B12 by injection 💉 - first steps . . . 👣
Hello All ! 😊 About to embark on the path of trialing B12 by injection as there seems plenty to confirm that those who do not benefit from supplementation, do ( - often enough!) see improvements via 💉s! Don't yet know if this will be available via the NHS, even citing credible info, of which there

PMR & Stage II Polycystic Kidneys
PCP determined PMR based on my “tinman stiffness” and bloodwork showing crazy inflammation levels in late January, and started me on 20 mg of prednisone. An ultrasound and xray turned up polycystic kidneys with a too-large to pass stones. I’ve tapered to 15 mg of prednisone at this point, and am wondering

Beta blockers and Cosopt
I have been using Cosopt eye drops to reduce the pressure in my eyes for some time. I have been recently put onto a beta blocking tablet (isoprolol) for heart problems. As both these medicines contain beta blockers I will be getting a more of the drug in my body. What about the impact on my eye though

Link between dry eyes and throat and PMRGCA? Any ideas?
This is my first post, so it’s a bit long-winded, as I’ve included some context and background. Context: • About 20 years ago, when I was in my mid-50s, I developed dry eyes and dry throat. This was eventually diagnosed as ‘dry eye/dry throat syndrome’. I had my tear ducts plugged to minimise loss

Cosopt eye drops
is anyone having trouble getting hold of Cosopt eye drops. These are single use drops which are preservative free. My pharmacist just says to ask consultant for an alternative drop but these are the only ones that lower my pressure slightly and I think I’ve had just about every glaucoma drop that’s available

Hi All, I've just joined this group looking to educate myself following a recent 2nd positive lupus test. I am waiting for a pheumatology appointment but no idea when that is going to happen so a bit concerned I am losing time on getting a plan in place. 30 years ago I tested positive for Anti Phospholipid
