Hi, my consultant wants me to have a Trabeculectomy because my field test is not good, but, my pressures are only 10 and 11 in each eye. Has anyone else had a suggestion like this? I am worried my pressure will go too low and create more problems. Thanks

Chemotherapy or Pluvicto
I just completed Radium 223 treatment. PSA has been doubling since I failed Zytiga. Last scans show progression. I am offered chemo or a trial with Pluvicto. The cancer is throughout my bones. What should I do. I have had chemo at the beginning of this journey and it worked then.

Ablate or wait?
About 1 year ago I suffered with recurrent AF episodes usually overnight and they lasted from 1 hour to 5 hours. On two occasions I went to A&E and was kept in A&E overnight. I got a consultant appointment and he prescribed Flecainide 100mg twice per day and a spot on the NHS ablation waiting list.

Dry eyes and hydration
I have lived with glaucoma for more than a decade, and over the years the associated experience of dry eyes and blurred vision has become an increasing problem alongside the treatment interventions and the eye drops that I’m required to use. Some days are worse than others and I’ve never really understood

Could I try BAT to restore sensitivity to previously used antiandrogen treatments.
I failed Abiraterone and SOC doesn't allow the switch to Enzalutamide. I was reading on the use of BAT to resensitize mCRPC. Would this be a therapy that could work or is it too late now that I have failed. I know its not SOC but I am running out of choices and looking for some clarity. Its basically

Enzalutamide any advice/tips for dealing with side effects
Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since scans

Euthyroid Sick Syndrome
Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with Euthyroid Sick Syndrome or thinks they may have it? I am now beginning to think that my problems are due to this and not Hypothyroidism. Am thinking of getting a reverse T3 test but it's quite expensive. This cannot be treated with meds so

Midazelam
Hi I am having cataract surgery on Sunday and you are given choice of a sedative or not. The nurse said "they usually " use Midazelam -obviously anything offered if i am unsure I will go without it. Does anyone know if Midazelam is RLS safe ? Don't want legs jumping around and the surgical instruments

EMDR.. anyone?
I am due to start EMDR next week. I have put it off for quite some time for one reason or another but I finally feel brave enough to start this. Anyone else on this journey? Or any success stories? My therapist thinks I have lots of little traumas mostly including health and death and believes this will

Dry Matter in the corner of eyes.
Does anyone have problems with dry matter in the inside corner of their eyes? I know Glaucoma can be associated with dry eyes and fortunately, so far, I have not had too much of a problem.. However lately I have noticed an occasional sharp pain in the corner of my eye as a piece of matter comes out.

Dry mouth
Hi, I'm on Besremi, now at 150 every two weeks (down from 180 as WBC got too low). I have had dry eyes for awhile, but suddenly I'm noticing my mouth is really dry. I also have frequent urination, and have had for sometime which is driving me crazy. I do see urologist next week about that issue

Tainted Blood Sample - Additional Info
Did not anticipate another blood sample error yesterday using hematology clinic lab with the personal touch specifically to avoid errors. Finding the positive, it is good to know that it is not only potassium that can be skewed greatly from a bad/coagulated sample but also protein and liver AST (aspartate
