No post for long time, here is my update.
For fellow Gleason 10 diagnoses. I found that when I was diagnosed I found it difficult to find any information about what I could expect. I know that none of us have the same reactions to the same medication but still I’ll list what I’ve be through so they might see what could transpire. I was diagnosed

Drs say there is nothing else they can do
Hi all. I posted a few days about my 71yo mum. Diagnosed just a few weeks ago with decompensated liver disease and has went downhill. She has been in hospital since Tuesday. She has ascities, jaundice and hepatic encephalopathy. She isn't eating at all. She is refusing the nutrition drink but

FOOD
Been researching food and how Inflammatory Arthritis can react to certain foods. It's not Paddison so don't sigh 😁. I am keeping notes on what I eat and how I feel. Apparently - Red meat contains high levels of saturated fats - can exacerbate inflammation. ( Don't eat meat except fish) Fried foods

Stopped taking NDT cold turkey, was this an ignorant mistake?
Hi Everyone, My ME/CFS doctor suspected that I had subclinical hypothyroidism last winter and so I began to take 1 grain NDT daily, which I gradually built up to 1grain am and .5 midday. Although I felt no improvement in my health and I felt no negative effects from taking it. I was just about to get

Xofigo problems?
Hi all, I've completed 2 treatments of the Xofigo / Radium 223. I've had the nausea and vomiting pretty bad, the dr had warned me it could be bad and it's been really bad. But now I'm beginning to experience some new different pains... pain in my stomach but it extends all the way around my torso,

I. have dents after pressing for few seconds and It hurts to touch, especially lower back, bum, belly and thoughts 😔 I had my Levo reduced last December (150 to 125) and it put me at the bottom of the range for both T4 and T3. BUT since

Well once again my mom made me feel like white trash! Like a second class citizen. I had bloodwork drawn a few days ago and Dr called me said I need to go to ER. I thought,I was going to die cause of the way she was so evasive she was! She said my sodium level was too low. Went to local hospital and

Link between hypothyroidism and raised levels of creatinine?
I have Hashimoto's and believe I am undermedicated. Recent blood tests showed TSH at 5.5 and also a raised creatinine level which I am worried about. Have to repeat blood test this week. Sodium, potassium and urea levels were fine. Any thoughts?

Hello, I'm new here. Happy to have found this group. Dx stage 4 at age 63 - 9 years ago. RP, Lupron, Zytiga, Doxetel, Xtandi, Radium 223. Doctor says I qualify for this trial. Anyone have experience with it? All treatments have failed me, so this is a last ditch effort to stay in the fight. Thanks for
