I wonder if you can help. I have no thyroid, cancerous removal and presumably being suppressed. do you really know what you’re eating?
Ive done a lot of research on dieting and food over the years and I learned that there are many things I see people calling healthy that aren’t. I don’t necessarily blame anyone for not realizing, many millennials and gen z kids (especially americans) didn’t really learn practical life skills in school

Metformin and Valproic Acid Has a Greater Anti-tumoral Effect on PCa Growth In Vivo than Either Drug Alone.

Stomach Virus or IBS
Hello, for the last week I have a had a nasty bout of flu, the last couple of days I’ve started to get diarrhoea but the strange thing is I can go for all night or 6 hours from one watery stool to the next so I don’t think it’s a bug. Should I take Imodium to try and settle my guts down or should

Hi all
I’m new to to this site and so glad I’ve found it. I was diagnosed with ibs in 2013, first symptoms started in 2012 after a bout of sickness on a break in Ireland. Since then I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, but also showed signs of that prior to diagnosis. Last Sunday a huge flare up

Lab results, any tips, advice etc is very welcome!
Hi all, Today I visited the endocrinologist. This was the second time I went to this one, after getting stuck with previous internists who only were willing to treat upon TSH and FT4. I I'm on 0.1375 levothyroxine and 4 times a day 5 mcg liotyronine. I still have lots of hypo symptons, most problematic

Just found out
Hello. I just found out I have high blood pressure (hypertension level) I guess I have had HBP for a while. It was always on and off and doctors didn’t seem to concerned. I am a female in 30’s. Not over weight and very small frame. I did have a lot of headaches in clusters. Even Tylenol would not get

Persistent sweet taste.....
Hello. I have been experiencing a persistent sweet taste in my mouth for 2 weeks now. I've been checked for diabetes and everything was fine. I'm a bit of a worrier when it come to my health so this is freaking me out. Googling these symptoms says it could be something called SIAHD caused by lung cancer

Liothyronine Hydrochloride vs Liothyronine Sodium
Have you or any of your members have any experience with Liothyronine Hydrochloride vs Liothyronine Sodium? As I understand it, the UK licensed version of T3 contains sodium and hydrochloride is only used in Henning Thybon, which is the German licensed product. I appear to be allergic to certain fillers

Tingling in extremities
I am CkD 3. Last GFR 57. Creatine 1.24 BUN 14 I have been taking triametrene for 10 years. I have been CKD for at least 5 years. I also take Lisinopril for HBP. I watch my sodium intake and protein. Delaying dialysis
I'm 64, with CKD. Good on sodium and potassium, but high in creatinine at 7.0,GFR around 10. Nephrologist wants to proceed to PD but I have no symptoms (fatigue, edema, nausea, shortness of breath, etc) and feel good. I'm okay with having surgery for access but want to defer dialysis until the ckd

New Member - No Doctor - Help Understanding Tests
Greetings everyone! I am a new member. You recently assisted me regarding my beloved mother in my post about Congestive Heart Failure (thanks so much). I take care of her and my 91 year old father (they are married 69.5 years!). I have them in their own home being together! I would appreciate your interpretation

Nephrologist Visit Today - Not Good
I went to the nephrologist and I do not know a thing. He would not comment about my prognosis until he receives results of my US's and labs. I showed him my US report from 2014 where it showed cortical thinning. He did say my kidneys are shrinking, although the report did not reveal the size. I asked
