vitamin b12 supplement
Hi, I'm new here & need some help. I think I'm still stage 3 CKD & have been watching sodium, potassium, phosphorus & protein. I am concerned that I'm not getting enough vitamins. I already had multiple food allergies before CKD but my B-12 levels had been normal. Can anyone suggest a brand of supplements

Can both t4 and t3 be used in treatment for hypothyroid.
Yesterday and today I've taken one and a half grains of armour and 25 of levo sodium. Probably silly but I feel like I have more energy. Is it ok to take both meds???

Can Sodium Lauryl Sulfate cause similar reaction as PG?
My son is allergic is PG - confirmed through patch testing. I've been VERY careful to avoid any medications that include PG as ingredient (which is challenging!). I'm noticing that my son's face is frequently red and splotchy (a reaction he used to get when he took medication that had PG in it). In playing

I'm confused - am I recovering?
It was almost 9 months ago I took two shots of liquid Flucloaxillin and got the worst case of post infectious Ibs. I'm actually under the belief that I had c-diff as after 3 weeks after taking the two little doses I had water coming out. I was petrified and horrified especially seeing as I was doing

First post and I am a wife of a sufferer
Hi and thanks for even reading this. My husband was diagnosed beginning of Sept with alcoholic liver disease and had ascites, oedema, some jaundice, tiredness etc. Our GP has been amazing and he has had the ascites drained ( 8.75L) and condition is we think stable. I'm just finding it hard and ended

Bowels misbehaving!
sorry for the delicate nature of this post! I finished chemo 5 weeks ago, all through cycle 5 & 6 I had diarrhoea and unfortunately it has continued. My recent scan was clear so my hospital are not overly concerned, they were pleased that Imodium works very well, but I can't take it for ever! can I?

Xofigo (Radium 223) to take with anything else as PSA levels have rocketed since coming off hormone treatment?
My father is hormone resistant and been fighting prostate cancer since 2013. He is 82, a recent scan showed his cancer hasn't spread to organs so has been approved to try Radium 223. His PSA levels have rocketed to 400 which is higher than when he had been on any hormone treatment, which he was taken

Greetings from Adelaide Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and what was done about it. I’m nearly three years on active observation and other bloods are pretty reasonable. I’ve become quite fatigued and headaches Have an appointment with my haematologist next Tues
