Hello guys... Opinion on some meds please.

This is me:

49. PSA 13 march 2019 , mHSPC oligometastatic per PSMA in prostate G7, locoregional nodes and 1 rib , I started ADT 3 month shot in march 2019.

In summer I had developed nefrolitiasis, ginaecomastia, huge fatigue, insomnia and osteoporosis -2.5

PSA went to 0.29

Test <0.025

Stopped (my decision) ADT in June until October. By then PSA at 0.20 and Test 1.7

3rd trimestral ADT shot last week.

I am doing weight lifting to calcify bones but had to stop calcium intake due to excess calcium in urine and nefrolitiasis.

I am on blood thinners that deplete K2 vitamin.

As per my blood tests, ADT seems to increase prolactin a bit. Which causes ginaecomastia and probably more fatigue.

I think the low mood and fatigue is in part due to low dopamine action and higher prolactin.

I consider the following protocol:

Vitex agnus-castus berry extract (1000 mg?) to increase dopamine and deplete prolactin. Have less fatigue and higher mood. (Low Vitex causes prolactin to increase. I think the right dose is 1000 mg)

Vitex agnus-castus leaf extract as a muscle builder.

CREATINE just before the gym. Also increases dopamine and lowers prolactin. Plus helps build muscles which in turn forces more calcification in bones.

Sulbutiamine 400 mg 1 hour before gym, to boost good mood and mental health and awareness. No astenia (this works for me)

L-Tyrosine????

What else?

I'm going to check kidneys to see if I've cleaned the calcium oxalate away by drinking lots of lemon juice, cranberry juice and water with Apple cider vinegar. Lots of water ...

If kidneys ok... I will start calcium citrate. Taking Mg already. Will consider Phosphorus. (Dr gave me calcium carbonate which I believe is not good. Better citrate)

And will discuss with Dr taking D3+K2 at night and the blood thinners in the morning. Bone builds mainly at night and I need my K2 to help.

Prolactin is also higher at night in deep sleep phase. I believe then that this protocol should go late in the day.

Thoughts/comments?

BTW I will take the Cholera vaccine also.

I also will soon start on Modified Citrus Pectin from ecoNugenics; I drink celery juice, Seabuckthorn berry juice, anona juice, mangosteen juice, elderberry juice, smoothie of blueberries+turmeric+black pepper+ginger+grapefruit ; red cranberry juice, Echinacea juice, 5mg Zn, quercetin 500; black cumin oil, boswellia serrata extract; Beta glucans, vitamins C, D E, and B's...

Thanks

Hi Manila, where/how did you come up with your protocol? Do you use a nutritionist?

Manilo, sorry, the spell checker changed your name to Manila 😀

No nutritionist. Just reading a lot, and adding stuff that I believe will do good.

I've read that blueberries with black pepper and cardammom boost T cells activity, NK cells, as well as does Creatine.

Then I go and add all these to my daily intake. But first I study all the facts to see side effects if any, and when or how much to intake.

Now looking for a supplier in India or elsewhere to buy cardammom which is quite expensive.

Sounds like you are doing a lot! Quite a protocol!

The weightlifting helps a lot to maintain muscle mass, along with other benefits.

You are already probably doing this, but I wanted to know if you are doing anything aerobic? Riding a bike? Jogging? Walking briskly? I have found that doing one or more of these helps with reducing the fat build up around the belly and breasts, while also significantly combatting fatigue...

Best wishes on your journey!

With all these great complementary interventions, what are your current CRP and LDH. levels?

Proof is always in the pudding.

Blood tests are all ok except a little bit of anemia. Probably due to low intake of red meat (I am mostly vegan) and a lot of green tea (I am lowering this or separating it from meals)

I would back off the creatine and go with a plant-based protein. Creatine has been linked to PCa and testicular cancer risk...

That’s why I switched to estradiol patches. The only side effect is gynecomastia.

I wish you best. I am a proponent of an aggressive treatment starting with Chemotherapy and Hormone therapy to kill as many of the little bastards growing in your body; while the body is strong and the tumor burden minimal. Side effects be damned as this is no party and who really cares if you develop a nice rack.... however, with this said, you do what you think is best and be sure and get your medical oncologist buy in. He is the real pro.

Just an observation or two...I lift also but have incorporated a Peloton into my routine and it is the bomb....The coaching is tops....You may want to consider strong aerobics if you are able and the Peloton is fun so you like doing it...Not sold on vegan . Fresh food, lean meats when I do eat them and fish...egg whites no dairy and not really sure about that but I know it will not have a negative impact on me....I practiced as a sports chiropractor for 30 years and somewhere people started shotgunning supplements...Oh this is good for this , and this is good for that...at one point my sister who lives in Florida who has no real health issues was taking 22 different forms of supplements...she sound like you do physically...she would add instead of subtract....finally she went to her GP and said ...My brother said to throw it all away and her depression and general well being returned in a few weeks because her doc agreed with me....she may take C now but she does eat well...We all share magic bullets on this site....I try to use the Peloton and weightlifting and yard work and flying to keep the ole mind in shape to feel good...I do drink Athletic Greens....I feel wonderful 99 percent of the time and I am on Xtandi Lupron ..Never fatigue...I also do not stress about a lean filet of beef...Food is fuel and I always tried to get this across to people ...you add to many additives and the engine fowls up...this is just a suggestion but go clean for a few weeks add meaningful aerobic exercise as you are able too and see what you really need...Blue Skies , Sky King and Penny (woof)
