While each lab may be different and obviously each tech, labs usually follow established norms. I use labtestsonline.org to check my results. When you click on the link look for TESTS on their menu bar and click on that. You can find each specific blood or urine test and get the standard norm and have the explanation for the test provided. One very specific plus for this is that when a doctor orders something different than a Chem 7 or CBC, I can use that site to find out why and then when I meet with the doctor again, I have a solid question to ask about why s/he ordered it and what s/he suspected and what the results mean.
crap!! my urinalysis showed some blood in urine i just looked - maybe cold be bacteria or stone. I drink about 2-3 liters of h2o daily - well started to anyways last 3 weeks or so and havent eatien meat eveen though the dr said i have no dietary restrictions - hmmm - by the way thank you MR_Kidney - you are a plethora of information
Your numbers sound a lot like mine creatinine, blood in urine, etc. and I’ve had ALL the follow up tests, renal ultrasounds, checked my urinary tract met with nephrologists, urologists, etc. If I stop lifting for a week, creatinine levels come down a few tenths from 1.4 to 1.1ish. I am losing some weight because my BP is a little elevated, but no one seems particularly concerned about my Kidney function.
thank you - i also lift weights as well -- hmm maybe thats what it is - have to work out though - feel like crap if i dont - my BP ranges from 105/74 to 123/85 - have to see about the weight lifting part - i cut out all meats for the most part - now im lean meat / chicken - turkey -fish but dr said i do nto have dietary restrictions - i just do it to be a little healthier but i will not say no to a good brisket
