Chronic boils anyone?
I'm stage 3b due to chronic kidney infections causing "inflammatory changes." I take activated Vit B6, antioxidants, sodium bicarb and get prolonged sun exposure (Vit D). My immune system doesn't seem to be compromised. I caught my first cold in years and it was super mild and only lasted 3 days.

Do you supposed to feel anything for CKD? And what are the symptoms?
Hello everyone I found out I have CKD in the last October with 1.48 creatinine, I met a very unhelpful doctor who just told me to have a low protein diet, and I didn't know what it was so I had to go online googled, then I found out CKD patients shouldn't eat high potassium, high phosphorus, high sodium

It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. Unfortunately, we have the news that my SO has run out of all treatment options except for experimental drugs. He will not be taking it as his body has been weakened from all the different cocktails he has already tried. His PSA is now 185,

Hi I will write a longer post about my daughters problems ,,, But I have a quick question to start with ..... is Dulcolax (sodium picosulfate) a stool softener (in that it adds liquid to the poo to make it softer ?) I was lead to believe it was ... but on reading up it seems to be classed as a stimulant

Staying healthy in lock-down....we’ll sort of!
I was reading in a magazine about how to keep healthy in these times of lock-down. All the usual things such as fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty of water, high fibre diet, mindfulness and where possible daily exercise. If, like me, you have probably read it so many times you wonder why you are killing

More blood work
Okay, so apparently when I had bloodwork done a couple of weeks ago, someone didn't enter something correctly so I had to go back again. Finally went yesterday (lots of other things going on this past week I couldn't get it done any sooner). I received the results this morning on MyChart and they look

Hello, I am new in this community and I am seeking some advice for my mom, who is 65 years old, has been diabetic since 2006 and a diagnosed hypertense since 2008. Albumin Creatinine Ratio Urine
At his last blood test my husbands Albumine /Creatinine level was 34.5. It is supposed to be under 2. His kidney specialist says it's because he eats too much salt but his sodium levels are always low normal. Can anyone tell me what this high reading means and how can I bring it down. Thanks.
