Dysmorphia?
I always felt ashamed when seeing myself in pictures. Most of the time I would never look at them because that would make me feel so bad and it would only accentuate my depression. Still, I sometimes do take selfies and I do like the way I look in them but when deciding to post one I start feeling bad

Strange feelings but only when I feel tired and try to get a little nap in late afternoon?
I get strange feeling in my head when trying to get a little sleep in the afternoon. But not when I go to bed at night? I am taking Amiodarone and Bisoprolol for A/F until I can get second Ablation when things settle down at Hospitals. Both medication give me sleep disturbance and day time tiredness

I don't know what my real voice is.
It's down to stress and
social
anxiety
, but I'm wondering if there could be a physical cause as well? I read that steroid inhalers can damage vocal cords. My voice always changes. It depends on who I speak to, or if I'm nervous.

Left side pains but is it Anxiety?
I am 28 years old and have always had what I believe was a mild form of
social
anxiety
but it didn't affect me too much. COVID 19 hit and my partner had to shield so we were at home and never left for anything during the whole lockdown and even a month before the official lockdown began.

Why are benzos so vilified and how do I bring this up with a new doctor without sounding like a drug seeker?
SSRIs for me have worked for some symptoms of
anxiety
, particularly
social
anxiety
(ie the feeling of dissociation/detachment) but not for overall general anxiety and panic attacks.

Disliking Therapy
I have
social
anxiety
and am usually pretty quiet. I’m not much of a talker. I also don’t feel like I have learned much from her. I feel like she’s mostly does talk therapy instead of CBT which I feel like might be more helpful.

How Chronic Illness Patients Can Cope with Seasonal Affective Disorder and Depression During COVID-19
There’s fear and
anxiety
about getting sick, depression from
social
isolation, financial hardship, and months of disruption to our everyday lives and routines — as well as the physical distress and cognitive side effects of actually contracting the virus.

Any Advice? (social anxiety)
I am new here and just wanted to start a discussion about advice on
social
anxiety
, especially in small groups of people (about 4) as this is what I find the most daunting, as it's hard to hide in the background.

When someone you’re in love with is gone by choice, if you knew what part of you still held on to hope that you’d reconcile, would you cut that part out of you? Is the pain worth it?

Feeling Uneasy Today
I haven't had a rough day in a week or so now. I was doing so well... Last week I found myself being less careful with social distancing with my friends as well as my family too... My thoughts are racing and I'm obsessing that I am sick with the virus. I'm also beating myself up for not social distancing
