Eliquis & Osteoarthritis pain
I'm on Eliquis for 10 weeks due to pulmonary embolism. Will likely be on it for life. My long time osteoarthritis is making life miserable due to taking away Advil or Aleve. Tylenol does nothing! Can I take MSM? Or anything else??

Ignored letter from GP for second autoantibody test as first one said satisfactory.
Hi all, I had my results back from the autoantibody tests regarding possible SLE. They were satisfactory which as far as I was concerned meant normal/good so I ignored a letter from my GP saying to come in for another autoantibody blood test, in the next four weeks. As far as I was concerned, I didn't

Insomnia
Here we go again. Went to bed feeling decent tossed and turned flipping channels. I took my sleep aid and finally got to sleep around 10 but only lasted 5 hours. Woke myself up with another nightmare of being confined. Been sitting here for an hour and half just crying can’t shake this feeling.

So upset
I was diagnosed in April 2017 with stage iv stomach cancer at the junction of Oesophagus. The cancer had spread to the peritoneum and I was offered palliative EOX chemo. I responded very well to the chemotherapy and was subsequently offered surgery (total gastrectomy, part removal of oesophagus and removal

Sleep problems
I have been on Antidepressants for years to help me sleep at night. Now giving me other problems so I've come off them. Do painkillers help anyone get off to sleep at night? I need something, last night I took Night Nurse as I was fed up of lying there for hours. Fibromyalgia is known for its problems

Abbreviations from our past quizzes.
Might be a good Idea to copy and past into a "MS Word" doc for reference. :-) Note the MS Word funny, how many of us even think Microsoft Word any more? If anyone else has any to add please send to me by private message and will get added. Abbrieviations to define: ACTH - Adrenocorticotropic Hormone
