Peginterferon lambda: Promising Results for New COVID Treatment
"Peginterferon lambda has tremendous therapeutic potential, and we continue to see the emergence of aggressive variants of the virus spreading around the globe which are less sensitive to both vaccines and treatment with antibodies," said researcher Jordan Feld, MD, MPH, associate professor of medicine

MAOI for depression in Parkinson’s
I’ve been through everything for my Parkinson’s depression and anxiety anhedonia disorder but nothing touches it. Recently started Rasagiline which I’ve been on for about a month but not feeling anything from it. Next suggestion from my neuro psychiatrist is moclobimide but I read it doesn’t increase

Non Medical Sleep aid
I found something that helps my sleep. According to my sleep tracker, I am setting new records in the quality of my sleep! What changed? I bought a sleep mask. It was less than $20... Amazon. I became addicted on day 1. It is amazing how something so simple could help so much. I know we

For those on Lupron experiencing fatigue…
I have been on intermittent Lupron for over ten years after biological reoccurrence after robotic prostatectomy. Fortunately it has worked well to keep my psa in check but fatigue and general loss of stamina has kept me from engaging in many physical activities I used to enjoy. FORTUNATELY I have been

Latest Update to Here We Go Again
Underwent the "simple mastectomy" on Nov 1 on the right side. This is my third breast cancer surgery and sixth primary cancer overall. LDN Dosing for Cancer - General Guide
For an adult cancer patient who has “no evidence of disease” and wants to use LDN as recurrence prevention, I generally set a target dose of 2mg – 4.5mg. I start at 2mg and gradually increase to 3mg then 4mg then 4.5mg as tolerated. I use bedtime dosing as long as sleep is ok prior to starting LDN.

pain management
I’m curious what fellow warriors daily pain management looks like. In the past 8-12 weeks the increase in pain is noticeable. Previously I was walking daily and able to work. Now it’s a quick walk with the dogs in the morning and that’s all I can manage. Aleve did help but now I’m using hydrocodone to

Calquence + chest pain
After six months taking CALQUENCE, I noticed light chest pains. Uncomfortable enough to avoid sleeping on my left side. I can still do my normal life, it’s just annoying sometimes. I’ve been to the ER twice and then checked with cardiologists. They said troponin levels were slightly elevated but nothing

Fluid after mastectomy
Fluid after mastectomy. Hi all. I had my surgery three weeks ago. I have some fluid which the Breast nurse assured me it’s normal. Feels as if I’m growing a new boob at the minute! But what I wondered is what everybody else has experienced? How long should I expect it to last for? I’m drinking lots

Ibrutnib, HBP, RLS, and insomnia issues
I'm an 80 year old male and have been on ibrutinib for the past 18 months. The ocologist approved my request to reduce my treatment to 2 doses per day but has so far refused my request for an additional reduction to one a day. I've lived a healthy lifestyle so ibrutinib is the only medication I've been

is this too many?
I have just worked out that since I was prescribed Verapamil, middle of June 2023, as a Pip, I have had 12 Af episodes when I have taken the pip (which sorts me out) I know I have had shorter af episodes since being on nebivolol, not reaching a high rate - I think the highest has been 138, maybe 142

Ablation experience
It is now 48 hours since my ablation and I thought that others might like to know something of my experience. Trihexyphenidyl medication for PD
Hello, my husband with tremor dominant PD has been prescribed Trihexyphenidly (aka Artane, Trihexane and Tritane) by his neurologists to try and reduce his tremors. He is currently on Madopar and its not really helping. Does anyone have any experience with this drug? Many thanks.

The other side of surgery and covid!
hi. Had a mastectomy 2 weeks ago today and tested positive for Covid 12 days ago! Covid tests negative but symptoms persist! Surgery went ok - fatigue the key issue. Time should sort that out 🤞 Restless legs mostly ok - taking half a Pramipexole tablet each day! I got half way through weaning myself
