Rheumatologist referral
Hi everyone I was diagnosed in October 2021 with PMR. I followed the doctors ‘normal’ reduction plan at first. I was able to get down to 5 mg with reasonable ease although I was never 100% free from some pain and stiffness but didn’t affect my qol . I then found this site and started to follow advice

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone else had, had a bad experience with their laparoscopy? I have suffered with endometriosis for 18 years ((I am 34 yes old)) (constantly misdiagnosed, gas lighted, not listened to, told it was normal period pains and to "just get on with it" - you know the usual story for

PMR flare advice needed
I have messed up with dealing with a recent flare and would love your advice on where to go from here. I was stuck at 11mg Prednisolone for many months and then one day I felt a change. From then I have been able to taper at 0.5mg every 3 weeks. All was good until I got to 8.5mg. I did my usual - add

Extreme fatigue. Any solution?
This is wiping me out. Honestly. It tends to start at about 5 pm and lasts for about 2/3 hours. I used to take Whey protein to counter it but this appears to not hit the spot. I’m utterly exhausted when this phenomenon strikes and am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I take B1 daily (Superior Source

Good resources regarding vagal AFIB?
Does anyone have any good resources (articles, YouTube videos) directed to vagally-mediated AFIB (the type that occurs after a large meal or while sleeping)? I believe my AFIB was triggered by endurance athletics (I used to do long bike rides and probably overdid it and stressed my body too much).

Gabapentin
So I did a lot of research, based on a comment from the psychiatrist, about gabapentin being used off label as a mood stabiliser, and also as a
sleep
aid
, and as an aid to reduce heavy drinking.

restless legs
Hi all, Another disturbed night - restless legs driving me insane. I get a horrible tingling sensation in my legs and cannot keep them still. I’m not overweight, get plenty of exercise, practice yoga, don’t have caffeine at all and only the occasional glass of wine at the weekend. Is this associated

LDN Dosing for Cancer - General Guide
If the patient has pre-existing insomnia, I would add a natural
sleep
aid
that is also anti-cancer, like melatonin 20 – 60mg at bedtime, or HonoPure 1 – 3 capsules at bedtime. The other option is to use morning LDN dosing.

Sleep Aid 2
Asked my PCP and Cardiologist for
sleep
aid
recommendations and got these responses: PCP: "I would stick to things like melatonin and antihistamines to avoid complications with your arrythmia as most others are going to be sedatives which can adversely affect those."
