ppi before zoledronic acid infusion
hello Radars,
I do not think if you do or don’t take a ppi before your infusion it will make any difference. Take care and good luck 🤞
hi,not heard from you in a while how are you getting on,I had my infusion yesterday no problems so far, I drank a lot of water but I was going for a pee every 10-15mns,plus my bladder is a bit dodgy, with the radiotherapy I had for my prostate cancer, going to continue my exercises today to help me a bit more, I was talking to the ros nurse on Tuesday and she said I would be ok to do some light weight training, that surprised me. is your pain any better now.
Good to see you online radars, I’ve been wondering how you got on with your infusion - looks like good so far so keep drinking your water look after yourself x
I’m so pleased that you are getting on well after your infusion that’s a really good sign if you are able to exercise and it doesn’t cause you pain that’s amazing you are very lucky. I’ve been having a really rough time the patches are not working properly so I haven’t been getting the pain relief so I’ve been in agony even in bed so I am waiting to see my surgeon and new pain management specialist but it’s just been left to drag on and on whilst I’m the one suffering but thank you for caring it means a lot. It’s good to know you are improving just take care xx
sorry to hear that you are still struggling, can't you get that cement treatment for pain. they inject it into your bones.
I wouldn’t ever want that the thought scares me but most of my issues are the bowel stuff as I’m waiting for more surgery on that as that’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life so I just want to get that sorted as I’ve just left the bone issues for now I need to focus on one thing at a time as it’s hard enough getting that organised. Thank you for caring xx
it's hard to understand that you have been in pain for so long, I think I would go mad, there must be someone to help you,
I’m seeing my surgeon next week so I hope he can do something well it’s been 6 months since my surgery and I’ve just gotten worse so I’m a bit of a medical mystery and the doctors don’t know what to do about it as they said they have never seen this happen before but that doesn’t help me it just pisses me off. It’s a nightmare trust me the won’t is horrific and then the pain meds when they work they just knock me out really so I’m not with it which is a bit scary however I will do anything to take away the pain. Guess that’s why they call it chronic pain the nature of it being chronic means it doesn’t go away xx I hope someone can help me soon as I’ve been suicidal with the suffering so I will lay it all out on the table when I see my surgeon so they know how bad things really are as I can’t carry on like this either in agony or drugged up so all I can do is sleep xx
yeah stick up for yourself, the more medication they give you the more side effects.
Oh I know I hate drugs I never used to take anything before this surgery just a few medications for other health issues but now I have to have heavy pain meds which is what’s so upsetting I want them to sort the problem not just think they can drug me because even then I end up in agony so there needs to be something longer term now as I’m done with being messed about as it’s breaking me and my poor family. Thank you for being so kind and asking how I am xx
Glad to hear you're doing well after your infusion.
