Colonoscopies after Salvage SBRT -- How Safe?
My internist has recommended that I get a colonoscopy. But simply to make sure there is no indication of any rectal problems. I have no symptoms of any rectal disease. I had salvage SBRT for prostate cancer nearly a year-and-a-half ago, in late August 2021, There is no indication that the SBRT damaged

MBC diagnosed March 2022 and the CA 27-29 tumor marker test.
it finally happened. I have been taking cts every three months, doing blood work with tumor marker testing every month, and I take verzenio and letrizole. My first tumor maker test was at 301 and continuously decreased until last month where is slightly increased by 3 points. It now sits at 70. Retest

based on our current understanding of science and medicine, we have reason to be cautiously optimistic that mRNA vaccines, in combination with checkpoint inhibitors, might provide yet another incremental advance toward more effective cancer treatment.

what tests needed for treatment after relapse
My husband, age 78, was diagnosed with CLL in late 2020. In early 2021 he had tests that revealed that he has a 17p del. In Oct. 2021 he showed symptoms, SLL, and began treatment with ibrutinib. It was great and produced no side effects. Now his lymph nodes are again swelling. As of PET scan in December

Bruzynski? Anyone have any experience?
Not trying to put aluminum foil hats on anyone, or wear one myself - but I found a movie about Dr. Bruzynski and his cancer treatment fascinating. I can't vouch for the claims made in the movie, but some of the testimony given by former patients of his was impressive (I've known about 5 people who've

Biopsy results
Happy New Year, to everyone, let's hope its a good one health wise. So saw my surgeon, actually one of his junior Dr's, yesterday and the second opinion tests on my tumour biopsy showed no malignant cells and benign. My wife was so elated, however I was a bit flat as I had my elation from first results

Ibrance and kidney functioning
I had a Pet Scan this week and it is stable with no evidence of cancer. The scan did show something going on with both of my kidneys which was not shown on the scan 3 months ago. I have been taking ibuprofen for back pain, mild headache- in the past couple of months. I also take Ibrance and Letrazole

PSA rising…..Duke Champ?
In November I posted my concerns that my psa increased from.01 to.27 after 15 months of Zytiga. Test today showed it at .67. Unfortunately, ct scans also showed spread in lymph nodes. I am certainly mCRPC now which answers my question from my last post. Also, I had a bladder tumor scraped via scope
