hi, l am 77 and have been referred to gynea department back in February 2021 due to post menopause heavy bleed which kept me on the loo for 20 minutes the first time then having to wear maternity pads for several weeks.
After having a partial hysterectomy last December which found tumour attached to endo l had the completion of my hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. I have now been referred to Weston Park for brachytherapy treatment as a 3 day in patient.
My main questions are is there intense heat with this treatment as with external radiology, also how soon could l expect to be back to ‘normal’ feeling my energy return and being able to drive again please.
