Lancet: Adding Avadart to Active Surveillance significantly statistically improved outcomes. 18% had cancer disappear on follow up ct scans.
"18% of the patients on Avadart on active surveillance the cancer "disappeared". No other drug but Avadart / finasteride can make that claim -- certainly not ADT ... which mutates the cancer to crpc. Avadart has no significant side effects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g0m8ATOLaM

reactive thrombocytosis, headache, hip pain, platlets 580x Esr 22 and pcr 7.7 hellllpppppp!
I have been having headaches for 8 weeks along with front hip pain (not sure if they are related) I had bloods taken and was given all normal apart from high platlets 580, ESR 22 and PCR 7.7. I am seeing haematology in March but I am desperate to get an idea what is going. My headaches are more annoying

piqray
I was on Piqray and Fulvestrant for two years with MBC with the Piq mutation. A large percentage of us have it, but not all doctors test. I took it after Ibrance and everolimus/exemestane quit working. I wonder why Piqray isn’t included on the drop down list of treatments on this site. I’ve now

Temp flare or back for good
Hello all. I was diagnosed in August 2021 & gradually reduced from 20mg to 3.5mg pred over the year. I'd been ok on this dose since July 22 though couldn't go lower without problems. I had a malignant melanoma & a big surgery in October but that didn't seem to poke the PMR beast either. Then a couple

Has anyone had a hysterectomy early 30s
I'm 31 years old I've had 3 surgeries in the last 8 years most recent surgery 2021. I know a hysterectomy is not a cure but I wanted to see if anyone had had one early and felt it was actual worth it. I don't have any children nor do I want to try to have a child. I've tried every hormone treatment possible

Surgery
Hi I was deemed inoperable after 4 rounds of chemotherapy. I had a diagnostic camera, and was sent back to have 2 further chemotherapy treatments. During this time I decided to go for a second opinion with Professor Christine Fotopoulou, as she was recommended to me. Surgery has been agreed but no guarantee

I had three Jevtana infusions.
I have a CT scan scheduled for next Saturday. I feel really good, compared to the time when I finished Taxotere, Pelvic radiation and Xtandi, which was killing me and I had to stop. Is there any sign to tell that things are working?

After the 6th infusion of jevtana and carboplatin my husbands psa continues to rise.
after 6 infusions his psa continues to rise. In October he started out at 57 . Today it’s 67. Last scans in December showed mostly stable except for a few new hot spots on the spine. He remains fairly active. He has also had 6 pluvicto treatments last year. Just asking if it’s time to end this treatment
