hi,I have locally advanced prostate cancer t3b no mo,diagnosed 2014 finished rt/ht 2016 my testosterone has not recovered, and now I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis waiting to have zoledronic acid infusion, is anyone here similar and are on trt.

Hey Radars ! Me: 2015 T-4 ,non-op , imrt , Lupron ,Tak-700( now a defunct test drug ) . I stopped Lupron with an orchiectomy 2017 . I stopped the Tak eight months back . I went into a no visible signs on scans and Psa<.1 remission for seven years now . BUT , I’ve got osteopenia , hypogonadism , = 3T this entire time . I did it to myself . So? Thinking about trt, yah that’s me . I’m just scared that it could kill me ?.. I’m 61 now and feel I owe it to my loyal wife to stay as long as I can . I don’t expect to make it to 74 . If I did, I think I’d try it then! Others should answer you Sir! Good luck!

After 18 months of Lupron and 16 of those months undetectable PSA, I stopped my ADT. After two more months I started TRT. Go 5 months and I have a PSA increase of .03. Would any of the others on this thread like to do a ZOOM meeting to share with each other? Let me know....

April 2015 castration for GL10 in RIGHT HALF of prostate. Following treatment began bi-weekly Cypionate Injections January 2016. *T* levels to 1,600ng/dL after injection to 450/600ng/dL in 2 weeks. 2018 had GL6 and GL7 recurrence in LEFT HALF. Had IRE and fine now. If PSA rises I simply STOP TRT and see if response is a decline. Working fine since 2018.

Went on a TRT vacation because PSA rose and NOW *T* is not detectable with PSA DOWN. Basically have no side effects happening with no *T* and in last 4 days bicycled 52 miles Tuesday, 11 Wednesday, 45 Thursday and 54 miles today.

Each are different so stay vigilant and work with your Dr.
