Flu jab anyone?
Not quite like the picture shows but at my GP's there were about 150 people ready to get one on Saturday! (but not the same one...) But the point of the post is to ask y'all if you had one and if it's affecting you? It would be the 5th one I've ever had and it's been the most symptomatic. Not that I've

Deficient immune system
I am only 4 months into RA diagnosis, and am on 25mg MTX. I was congratulating myself two weeks ago that i had escaped all of the colds going about. I should have bitten my tongue off. I have had this nasty head cold for nearly 2 weeks now, and it is still not going away. I have inhaled enough menthol

Missed Flu Jab and regretting it..
Normally have appt. in September but none available...can't believe how weak and low I feel...plugged the nose...can barely move with all other OA bone aches...from teeth to my toes....Will try and ring(so difficult to get appts...) and have the Jab as had it for past few years as immune system compromised

To have flu jab or not ?
Hi - just a bit of advice please. My husband had Ivor L ewis two and a half years ago and doing well. Has had the flu jab for the last 3 years and they made him feel a bit off colour - he is debating this year whether to have it. I feel he should but he isn't sure - any thoughts ?

Flu jabs
I am concerned that flu jabs may be the cause of some side effects over the years. I also wonder what may happen if I miss the flu jab one year? would the asthma come back with a vengeance? just worrying....is anyone having mine same worries?

Flu jab?
Hi All I've received a notification from my GP surgery that I am eligible for the flu jab. Has anyone else been called in? I know it's optional - not sure whether to have it. I'm assuming I've been called due to having PBC?

FLU JAB TIME
This is the time of year when GPs start offering flu jabs (mine is tomorrow) so for the benefit of newbies, YES it is a good idea since flu can put an unwanted burden on your suffering heart and NO I know of no cases where it has exacerbated AF or affected INR. Since it is a dead virus it can't give

THANK YOU
Thank you for all of the lovely replies, suggestions and support.. As you can see I have changed my username to one which reflects my profession, as I run a farm with my husband. I feel more positive now, I know its very early days..and I have already had cravings for chocolate, which I managed to ignore

FLU JAB
Hello I m due to have a flu jab at the weekend. I have been on a dose of steroids for PMR 15mg a day for 3 weeks to see if it helps symptoms and oh yes it has. I have read that you shouldn't have a live vaccine while on steroids. What are your experiences please?

Flu jab
Just had mine this morning - hope I don't have an adverse reaction to it. I have always paid for have mine as I work in a school. This is the first time I've had it for free....a bit worried about my body coping with it with a depressed immune system due to RA and drugs 🤔

Flu jab & Chemo
Hi Ladies, I was just wondering if any of you had the flu jab whilst on Chemo, I've just had my fourth cycle of six. My GP has advised me to have it and my Oncologist said it would be OK, but I was a bit worried because I know some people have a reaction to it and I've never had a flu jab before. Any
