Well it looks like

might stop me from graduating this year! It’s taken me 12 weeks to get to week 9 so I’ve taken it easy.

GCA flare
Diagnosed April 2018 with PMR. Three months later GCA. I am currently on 3mgs prednisolone. Over the last two days have scalp pain on right side only … no jaw pain. It feels a bit like I am getting a cold sore but no cold sore showing up. Could it be a GCA flare? Thank you to everyone who replies.

Nodular Melanoma
‼ The most common sites for nodular melanoma to present are on sun-exposed areas such as the head and neck, also often found on the trunk in men and legs in women - but it can appear in other areas of the body. How skin cancer develops
Around 90% of skin cancers develop because unrepaired DNA damage to the skin cells caused by over-exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UVR) from the sun and/or sunbeds triggers mutations that cause the cells to reproduce abnormally (grow out-of-control) and form tumours. As they grow and divide without

CELLULITIS
Has anyone had cellulitis? I have had it for just over a week and have just completed a 7 day course of Flucloxacillin. I did not see a doctor - just had to post a photo of my leg, so haven't had the opportunity of discussing it with him. From the web it sounds quite serious, but don't like taking

Mixed Connective Tissue Disease
I went to a physio as I thought I had
shin
splints
the pain was awful couldn't walk. I would walk for an hour then not be able to move. (I also have sever endometriosis stage 4) so just felt like my body was falling apart. My fatigue was off the charts. Sleeplessness at night and pain.

Skin cancer does not discriminate!
It’s a common misconception that people with darker skin tones are immune to skin cancer. Individuals of all skin types, from all ethnicities can develop skin cancer. The term ’skin of colour’ refers to diverse skin colours which includes people of Asian, African, Latino, Middle Eastern and Native

CLL and Skin Cancer
My husband has a small innocuous growth on the side of his nose prior to needing treatment for CLL. His doctor and dermatologist both said it did not look dangerous. He is now on cycle 8 of O+V. The growth began to bleed a couple of months ago, and his primary doc thought the dermatologist should take
