Early Bleeding during 2WW

Howdy…

I had a fresh transfer a couple months ago and I didn’t even make it to the test date I got my period on I think maybe day 6/7 after transfer. I was on progestogen (twice a day) and the lubion (think that’s what it’s called!) I’ve read alot that being on the progesterone should stop this period from coming… so wondering if there’s any other reason !? I’ve bought this up with the clinic but they didn’t really give a reason!?

Had this happened to anyone else and if so was their a reason given!?

I have FET coming up, so guess just feel a bit worried this could happen again!

I also had this happen to me, I asked my clinic too and they said they could not explain as everything seemed fine up to that point

Sorry it happened to you too! It made me feel so rubbish that I couldn’t even get to the test date!! And also annoying that the clinics haven’t suggested anything

This happened to me twice. The first time I was on pessaries only. The second time I was on pessaries and lubion. My clinic then put me on Prontagest which is intra-muscular progesterone.

hey, ah ok maybe I need to ask about the prontagest instead! I was worried that the pessaries weren’t taking right as felt like they leaked out!! X

Hi Bonaire. You may have a bit of an infection. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and keep an eye on your urine output. Good luck! Diane

hi Bonaire,

I had this also on day 6 evening and 7 day, but it was more light flow rather than a full period. I called clinic and they told me to up my progestrogen pessary (cyclogest) 3 a day. It did stop the bleeding, I am still testing negative as of day 8 but now not going to test until OTD (Saturday 11th). They couldn’t give me any advice on why it happened or anything. Really bizarre.
