Pregnancy urine test or blood test?

feels like my period :(
I’m day 8 post fresh embryo transfer on my first cycle. I started bleeding yesterday and thought it was implantation blood but today it’s so much heavier like my normal period.. I thought the progesterone meds stopped my period?! I’m so so gutted

FET this week. Anyone else?
hey all, I have my 5th FET on Wednesday. Trying to feel positive but struggling tbh after 3 failed transfers. Anyone else doing a transfer this week? The only difference to this cycle is my clinic have added in lubion as my progesterone was low on the last one!

Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise and apologies in advance for the long story! I consulted a private Endocrinologist and started taking Liothyronine in early October 1 x 5mg tablet 3 times a day. I was also on 25mg levothyroxine, 4pumps of estrogel, 2 tablets of progesterone and 1/8 pack of testogel

Progesterone levels
Hi all, I wondered if anyone out there knew much about progesterone levels? I had mine tested back in August which on day 20 were 31.8nmol/L. I've googled and anything over 30 suggests that you did ovulate with a mature egg but I was wondering if they were on the slightly lower side of normal? Or am

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis. I've always had heavy periods with period pains that make my thighs numb and require prescription painkillers. At the age of 44 I had some symptoms of perimenopause and tried HRT. After two years I came off and that seems to have triggered a strong reaction

Update from yesterday’s egg collection
Little update…my only two eggs were mature and did fertilise. If they survive another night they were planning a two day transfer. But my husband and I have decided against it and pushed for a 3 day transfer instead. Reasons being that I think we would prefer know a bit more about the quality going

Fresh transfer took place on Monday! Anyone in the same boat?
Hello all, This is our 6th transfer (fresh this time!). It almost didn't happen as my progesterone blood test was borderline (high end) on egg collection day and the doctor advised against a fresh transfer (freeze all protocol and FET in Jan). However I pushed for a fresh transfer and it was finally

Hi everyone, We had a day 5 embryo transferred. 5 days later I started bleeding - started off as brown discharge but has got heavier and is now full flow period (complete with cramps) so my period came a week early. I am on progesterone pessaries 3 times a day (600mg urogestan). My understanding is

Androstenedione & Frailty
New study from Spain [1]. For many years, I used a product that probably contained DES (diethylstilbestrol) - perhaps 1 mg? My QoL was very good. When I eventually migrated to 3 mg DES - plus a shot of testosterone cypionate every 3 months - I began to feel frail. The new study associates high

9dp6dt, how does progesterone impact AF?
Hi everyone, I'm 9dp6dt and it's been exactly 14 days since the day I was supposed to ovulate (I took a trigger shot, on a natural FET cycle). I've been on 200mg progesterone. I have no symptoms whatsoever, except a mood swing that felt like my usual PMS on Saturday. How long can progesterone supplementations

Vaginal soreness
I am experiencing very sore vagina internal and externally around my vulva. I had thrush back in July and had a few repeat courses of the anti fungal treatment and also steroid cream but have had a recent retest for thrush which was negative and don't currently have itching. To be honest I wonder if

TTC naturally with cyclogest - success stories?
Hi everyone I am new here, I am 31 and have been TTC for nearly two years and have had one chemical pregnancy. I have pre-period spotting up to six days before my period and have been told my progesterone levels are low in my luteal phase. Have just started cyclogest (2 x 400mg) a day from 1DPO.

Deciding on my next IVF protocol - advice
Hi All! My first IVF ICSI cycle recently failed because my two only embryos didnt make it to the blastocyst stage. They were fine until about day 4 and then they arrested. I will be 42 in about 3 months and have AMH levels about 7. Four egg were retrieved during the egg collection from about 8 size folicules

Morula transfer and progesterone pessaries
Morning all, on the embryologist’s recommendation I transferred a 5-day Morula embryo on Thursday 23 Nov. Has anyone had experience of this working ? Also I did not realise my vaginal progesterone pessaries were 400mg in strength rather than 200mg - I was prescribed to insert 200mg in the morning and

Help with adding levo to T3 only
Hi, I've been on T3 only for many years (62.5 mcg). I've switched from levo to T3 only in the time because I had an elevated rT3 and still hypo symptoms despite elevated dose. Every endo I've seen in the last years said I should go back levo because my T3 levels are through the roof. They don't seem

Hi everyone hope you’re ok. I am 40 in 6 months time. I have one failed round of ivf behind me ( three eggs didn’t make it to blastocyst due to egg quality) that was in august. I had a horrible experience with the nhs after that after being told I wasn’t eligible for another cycle. I fought this
