Getting off levo is possible. My experience.
I stopped taking levothyroxine in May after weaning off it for a year and a half. For those that are interested in what happens when you wean off levo - it takes about a month/month and a half for the body to adjust to not having the external hormones coming in. For me, one of the surprising changes

Bloods poor conversion & Levo
Please could anyone offer advice about what to do, I am currently taking Levo of 110mcg per day since May 2020, I have tried in vain to increase my dose, each time I suffer increased bowel movements, then constant afternoon fatigue. Last week I had heart palpitations, dizziness and started slurring

Would anyone comment on the supplement I’m about to re-start please
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated I’m now re-introducing supplements after many weeks without them and my metavive. I’ve included a photo of my current brand but it goes only half way down the list, the rest I’ll write. What I wanted to know was, is it an appropriate one? Many of you recommend

Blood tests due
I am due to go for monitoring blood tests next week and would like some advice on what tests to ask for. Based on my last tests I feel my GP will only want to test TSH. Initially my GP did a thyroid function test which tested TSH and FT4 (Early July): TSH 52.6 (0.27-4.2), FT4 3 (11-22) I was placed

How to improve low conversion of T3
Hi, is there anything I can do/take to improve T3. I’m currently taking 2000 vit D, 200 vit k2-MK7 and 4g of mag365. I’ve just read zinc and selenium can improve conversion, can anyone offer any advice please? My results from July are below missing results are on the second report. Thank you

VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS AND BLOOD TESTING
Hi. I am going for a blood test in 6 days. When should I stop taking supplements for vitamin d, selenium, zinc, magnesium and B12. I’ve been diagnosed with Graves and have the antibodies. I’m looking to get the most accurate vitamin levels. Do you stop taking vitamins or just continue as normal? Do

Advice on supplements- anyone recognize these symptoms?
I would really appreciate advice. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's 25 years ago and have been on thyroid replacement since. Recently I have had racing heartbeat, inability to sleep and shortness of breath. I thought it might be too much thyroid although my TSH, T3 and T4 were all

Selenium dose
hi all - had some helpful suggestions for which brand to buy - thank you. Now what dose? Medichecks selenium levels test is £100+ so I'm definitely avoiding that one if at all possible... Any idea what's a sensible level to dose? Cytoplan tables are 100µg. thanks again in advance
