Help for my Dad
Previous to the the autoimmune diagnosis he was diagnosed with partial absence seizures and was on
seizure
medication. He had confusion, loss of memory and balance problems. The
seizure
meds were stopped after the encephalitis diagnosis.

Restless Legs 'attacks'
It feels almost like a kind of
seizure
. I can feel it fizzing in my nerves all over and giving me a bit of brain fog. A bit like overdosing on strong coffee. Then it subsides and I'm OK again. It can come on any time of day. Hope you're all doing as well as you can.

headache instead of a seizure?
Hi so i am 20 years old and i have had mild epilepsy since i was very young, i can’t remember exactly when i was diagnosed. i haven’t had a
seizure
in about 7 years but i’m not sure if that is because it is quite easy to avoid my trigger(fast flashing lights) or if i have grown out of the epilepsy. today

Clonazepam withdrawal and seizure frequency
Could this mean, that the culprit behind the
seizure
-series is Clonazepam? Can Clonazepam withdrawal cause this increase in the
seizure
frequency?

Post brain injury hallucinations?
He has been on anti
seizure
medication since the incident. So along with possible side effects of the medication, and what I believe could be PTSD from all that has happened, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced visions, or fearful incidences following brain injury.

CT scan
He did have tests years ago after his first
seizure
. But for years his seizures have never been fully under control. I don't think that the medication is working. He has had his medication pushed up to their maximum blood levels. Now all of a sudden a doctor wants him to get a CT scan.

Rapid Decline in Balance
Now he has tremors in his hands and one leg, slower responses, flat affect and his balance is quickly declining and becoming the biggest concern with a dizzy spell while standing yesterday that looked almost like a
seizure
. Is this common?

Hi, I witnessed my mum having a
seizure
yesterday eve which is the most scary experience I have had. Mum was in bed, I had just administered her meds and went into the kitchen and heard the most awful screaming (mum’s speech is limited so hearing a noise like this was alarming).

Energy drinks
My question is, should she be avoiding these altogether, could they trigger a
seizure
as having the opposite effect as she says, doesn’t sit well with me at all. Tia

Beginning of IVF, how to proceed with work when there are risks RE lifting, moving and handling… !???
If you imagine a 10 stone person falling towards you, and needing support during a
seizure
, would you say this is probably unsafe for the whole pregnancy? My thoughts are probably yes.

Initial diagnosis Ataxia but then a Brain Tumour
I’m currently checked every 6 months and on anti
seizure
medication after having my first
seizure
hours after surgery. I’m really grateful to still be alive as I was advised I only had 6 months to live as my symptoms were getting a lot worse. They think the tumour had been growing for 15-20 years.

fainting every time I’m ill
Last spring I had a tooth extraction and same again fainted and actually had a
seizure
this time too. All I get told is ‘some people are more prone to fainting’ and maybe that’s right but I’m desperately looking for another option so thinking maybe it’s linked to my thyroid somehow?
