Breakthrough Seizure After 10yrs - Shocked and Uncertain - What do I do?
I'm thinking of not taking it - I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how I go - I'm thinking this was just a breakthrough
seizure
and it won't happen again? My question: What do I do? Is the likelihood it was a breakthrough
seizure
higher than the likelihood of a return of epilepsy?

Is non-alcoholic beer safe
hi, My son is 18 and has had epilepsy for 7 years, He was
seizure
free for a few years but the last year we have had a few. He likes to go out with friends and be the same as everyone else but drinking alcohol triggers a
seizure
the next day.

Husband just been diagnosed with brain tumour
He had a
seizure
back in March and they didn’t do a CT, and then no symptoms until now, which he had all symptoms of a migraine last week, they did a CT scan which showed a 6cm tumour in temporal/frontal lobe which they believe is low grade but can’t say for sure yet.

cardiac arrest and hypoxic brain injury
Currently, they have no evidence of this via testing apart from clinical symptom I.E. every time they lower the Propofol she seems to have
seizure
like activity. My mum had involuntary movements throughout being sedated at times.

Can't Sleep, Major Panic Attack, Overthinking Everything
The attack was so bad I honestly thought I was having a
seizure
and I couldn't breathe or move, I felt so scared and I couldn't get out of it. I just wish my girlfriend doesn't have to see me like this. I'm scared that I'm going to be too much for her to handle and she's going to leave.

Focal seizure on face only?
Has anyone ever experienced a focal
seizure
on the face only? This last few months I have been experiencing brief episodes of pins and needles /tingling around my left eye area, left temple. Sometimes it spreads down my cheek slightly.

Has had 6 tonic-clonics over 7mos period Treatment: Keppra 3500mg/day Present Day: Went 2.5 mos without a
seizure
. Then, last weekend had tonic-clonic on back to back days as she started to ovulate. Lack of sleep not an issue.

No Support…
I had my first
seizure
4 years ago. I thought maybe it was a one off but 18 months later it happened again. Since then I’ve had another 4 seizures. In those 4 years I had all the scans and they showed nothing.

I had a my first tonic clonic
seizure
June 23. I'd been having focal seizures for 10 years but didn't know what they were, so never saw the doctor. I've had CT scan, MRI and all normal. Had an ECT and that showed abnormal electrical activity in my brain which shocked me.

Treatment Decision
He had an organ transplant years ago, and a small stroke, takes anti
seizure
medications, and has a walking disability due to a neuromuscular disease. He already wears diapers for incontinence.

Also another great "

Have broken skull, but getting dizzy spells when moving, equilibrium, have turmeric at present, natural any other 'medications' suggestions?
Broke skull in 2018 from double epilepsy
seizure
, diagnosed in 2021 as terminal/brain damage, only relief from this is turmeric with black pepper, relief from lack of sudden movement, [walking uphill, running, etc], don't want mind numbing medications stuffed down my throat, or stuck in a useless hospital
