Symptoms suddenly taking a turn for the worse
Hello everyone. I am new to the forum, and have some questions to ask, but also want to share my RLS story, as well as some things that I have found helpful in living with RLS. I have had RLS for over 40 years. At first it was fairly easily controlled with a good run or long walk, and later with magnesium

Purpura on w&w?
Since diagnosis 3 years ago, while on W&W, I have had presume purpura spots come and go on my left arm, but today, after reaching in to tomato cages to capture the best and presumably scraping my arm, I have developed a whole big area of what I assume to be purpura, spread over about 3 inches and not

I have had an endoscopy that found chronic eosphogstis. I have tried three PPIs ie omeprozole, lanzopropal and the one something like esomprozole. Other than watching what you eat and drink , have you found any natural solutions like peppermint oil or the like. Tried ginger, slippery elm but no relief

Olive oil guys… in a dark can… best you can afford. My ontological perspective..:I’ve always seen that OL and fish/ oil as medicine. My own researcher bias; my own HDL is now over 2 and I eat a supper every night full of crap.

From a Gleason 9 to a clean CT scan in 18 mos.
18 mos ago, my husband was told by his dr. that he "most likely had two or three good years left." (WHY do they say stupid things like that?) I think that a lot of people believe whatever the dr. says and subconsciously program themselves accordingly. I, on the other hand, thought to myself, "We'll

Cystocele/Rectocele repair all done
I'm almost 6 weeks after my repair surgery. Recovery not to bad. First two weeks I was warned were crucial and told not to do anything except rest, which I did. Luckily we had hot sunny weather so I literally layed outside sunbathing in-between medication, meals and sleeping. No pain as I kept taking

High dose fish oil supplements may increase risk of AF
I saw this in the Consumer Labs newsletter today. Just wanted to posts for those taking high dose fish supplements. Please let me know if link does not open as it’s subscription based. The percentages don’t seem that significant, though I’m not the best person to interpret these studies https://www.consumerlab.com

Vitamins/supplements for cll?
I found out AFTER I was diagnosed with CLL that low vitamin D is a risk factor for getting CLL. I have had chronically low vitamin D even though I worked outside for half my working life. I was haphazard in supplementing the past 30 years. With recent research, I'm seeing all kinds of supposedly helpful

update on hubby
Hubby was feeling very bad earlier in the year from what turned out to be overdosing of levodopa when they changed him to the ER madopar. This caused severe rigidity even in his throat, agitation and sundowning in the evening, and eventually he kept trying to escape in the night to try and kill himself

Early 50s male, healthy till hypothyroidism my first few months experience of treatment
I don't usually share info on the internet, but as a lot of material out there is aimed at women or Americans (I mean no offence to either!) I thought I'd stay my experience so far. Diagnosis, what does it all mean, and treatment/first medications. DIAGNOSIS Late 2022 I saw a nurse as I was taking longer
