PUVA Dept for urticaria treatment.
Anyone have any ideas what I might have now? It's got to be something to do with my thyroid as doesn't look like psoriasis etc. I got an appt through a text tonight saying I have to attend this clinic. Just worrying now as haven't had chat with dermatologist about results yet!! TIA x

Severe anxiety 24/7 - Desperate for some help
3 months ago I began suffering from extreme anxiety. Previously I had held a good, but stressful job (which docs think caused the breakdown). I now have severe body tremors, nausea, tingling in my extremities for the most part of the day which seems to abate somewhat late in the evening. I've been

Help! I'm so dizzy!
I have had worsening dizziness since my PD diagnosis last December. Lately I've been very nauseous, too. All the time. Being treated for orthostatic hypotension, (midodrine 5 mg 2 x day), but when I check my pressure standing, it's normal now. When I first started the carbidopa levidopa it was like a

Ferritin or liver supplements? Anyone tried them?
Hi I am struggling to get my ferritin levels up. I have been taking solgar gentle iron for over a year off and on due to stomach issues. I have finally had to give up on these due some very unpleasant gut issues that I won't go into. I can't stomach the taste of liver - tried that, continue do it

Advice on Blood testing
Hi, I need more good advice from the forum. I have been going it alone with my hypothyroidism taking Vit A D & K, B12 patches once a week, B12 tabs with intrinsic and B complex everyday, Vit C, Probiotics, inositol, gelatin and NDT. So much I can barley fit them in having to take some on empty stomach

Finding a good therapist
I have what I would call overwhelming anxiety at times. I just sit in front of the screen and bite my nails. I try to get up and do something to forget about it, but find myself coming back to the same place. This is my work place by the way. I have an at home business and spend a lot of time in

Would appreciate some input on newest labs!
I went to the lab two weeks ago and got my results today (seeing hormone doctor later this week). I feel quite confused and I'd really appreciate some feedback on them (long post!) I have been on 5 grains of Thyroid-S for the past two years. Last year, I even tried raising it after labs came back: TSH

So psych doc added remeron and perphenazine to my growing list of meds. Has anyone had any experiences with either of these ?

Any thoughts/advice on my results?
Main symptoms are Fatigue, weight gain, lack of concentration & drive. Nearly all bloods are “in range” so for docs nothing wrong with me, so went back for more detailed bloods to research myself and ask for help and advice from others who have more of a clue! Not on any thyroid meds as doctors all

Help with test results
I have most my blood results back and nearly everything is within range! A few things to note: the B12 I have been on a course of it since April to improve it, it was at 255 so has risen to 313 now. On the Anti-TG there is a note to say the sample was Hemolyzed so needed to be redone. Cortisol is high

Info that might be useful to someone
I have been trying to solve the puzzle of why I am hypothyroid for many years. Ive tried about every test, seen gps, endos and gone private. No one has ever been able to solve my mystery. Ive always been borderline with low ft4 and ft3 and can convert no problem. Ive had vitamin tests and they showed

Hepatitis A and B Vaccination for PBC patients
I had in incident recently that made me worry about contracting Hepatitis A. I'll be doing blood test this week to check that out. But, as my doctor and I were talking, she said that it'd be good for me to get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B. She said, in general, for people with chronic liver disease
