PUVA Dept for urticaria treatment.

Anyone have any ideas what I might have now? It's got to be something to do with my thyroid as doesn't look like psoriasis etc.

I got an appt through a text tonight saying I have to attend this clinic. Just worrying now as haven't had chat with dermatologist about results yet!!

TIA x

You know that urticaria and Hashimoto's are linked

Is your Hashimoto's under control? Correct dose so that TSH very low and FT4 towards top,of range

Vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 all at very good levels and are you strictly gluten free?

I swear everything is linked with hashi's haha! Not funny really I know! FT4 was 7 upped it to 75mg a month ago. Not strictly gluten free still either yet.

The thing that I have found that people have that treatment for is mycosis fungoides. Which looks the same. Have you heard about this? X

FT4 of 7 sounds dire - what was the range

What about TSH

No not heard of mycosis.

I know, apparently it was like that for a year. No wonder I am fat! Erm think it started at 12.

TSH 0.83 probably because I am on T3.

It says it's cancer I think but it can't be because the appt is booked for December. I'm on 180mg of fexofenadine twice a day and still wake up with some bumps.

Hopefully the GP will be able to tell me results tomorrow before I get to see dermatologist again !!

So presumably you have Hashimoto's

What are vitamin levels and cutting gluten is likely to be effective

I had the same thing. Went to an immunologist

He did a puncture biopsy at the site of the itchy and painful rash

My IGG levels were tested along with T fighter cells. Suspected Lymphoma. Go check it out. Then went to a hematologist had Ct and pet scan ...... still not sure what I have. Good luck
