Last Sunday, I called the hotline for Covid19. I caught a cold after I went in a place that was a hotspot for that virus. I thought (hello anxiety) I had it. The guy I talked to told me that I just had to stay at home then quarantine myself. So I did. For a week, I obsessively monitored my temp and checked for more symptoms. There's none followed aside from my sinusitis. I also felt my throat itchy but I did try to soothe it with lemon and honey -dont drink water after you take it- warm water and salt for mouthwash, and ginger soup (garlic, onion, and ginger) every morning. As of this writing, I am on day 8 of quarantine.
PS. My sister and father have cough. So the paranoia persist at some point BUT I try myself to think rationally.
PPS: Do you have a dry cough? Elevated body temp above 37.8? Sore throat? Muscle and joint aches? None? Okay. Then chill and relax. Oh. Last. Can you still smell coffee???? Yes? Good. Meaning you dont have Covid. 😎

I get what you are saying it is a case now if we just get a normal cold or cough we panic , think most of us are reacting like this
I don't think you had it or you would have known but understand why you are worrying as I am to
Just keep doing what they are asking us to do and if you are in the UK well I hope they put us in lock down as some idiots seem to not understand the simple rules set out to keep us as safe as possible
Well in the UK they seem to have gone mad , it started a few weeks ago people stock piling food and toilet rolls !!!!
I have enough though and if we really need food ( if you can get it ) one person is allowed to go out once a day to fetch whatever you need , but we have been told it has to be a necessity if we do and there will be more police on the streets watching that we are sticking to the rule
We also have online shopping and I have managed to reserve slots to have it delivered for the next 3 weeks so we should be ok
Have they gone mad were you are stock piling food ? x
Exactly , I am glad to know then it is just not the UK that have them and it happens in other places to , I just thought it was us that were stupid and could not follow basic common sense rules !!!
Hope you have a good day , well the best you can , even though I am not sure what time it will be where you are x
Well I am agoraphobic and have been 17 years so to me this is nothing I stop in anyway
But I clean , I like doing my garden , somehow I just find things to do but I suppose this bit is easier for me as it is all I have known all these years x
Well, I could say that you are not really socially affected by the lockdown ! Haha. Some people are now going crazy of just staying at home. I am a homebody too and this is my usual thing 😂
It is a lonely world though when you have agoraphobia but I suppose I am used to it and all those that are going crazy know that you will get out again as soon as , I will still have agoraphobia and maybe you might have a glimmer what it is like to suffer with it
But staying in will safe life's so I do hope all around the world people will adhere to it and let's bang this on the head as soon as
At least we can come on here meet new people from all round the world that understand us and make new friends that has to be a positive x
That’s probably the anxiety speaking, I know how you feel, there are nights when I wonder if the Stress/Financis thinking about it or the Virus itself is going to kill Me??? I’m trying so Hard to Not think that way??? This is affecting my health I’m not eating like I should, I’ve lost 40 lbs in a short time. Instead of concern? People are saying it Great? Other wise I would agree, but it’s the way I’ve been losing it? I wish and Pray for the World 🙏🙏🙏
